Getting started
Onboarding to the service is generally undertaken as an activity during an implementation project, where the Joubini application is personalised to the customer. 

Skills transfer is provided through a combination of in-project coaching, and user documentation.

End-of-contract data extraction
Joubini does not support the extraction of data, once the contract has ended all data is deleted from business partner configuration and any associated tables.
End-of-contract process
If the customer ends the contract for Joubini, they will no longer have access to the product, the customer will need to inform NDBS in writing  of the decision not to use the product. 

Upon contract termination all customer data and that of any associated business partner is deleted additionally any data in shared tables is also deleted.

The time spent by the consultants to de-activate the functionality will be billable to the customer and the cost of this will be advised at the time of termination.

Description of service interface
The service interface is via a business monitoring platform within Joubini using a FIORI frontend. The monitoring enables uses to access a central monitoring cockpit for all documents and the ability to review and reprocess any failures; generate reports on document that are processed via the Joubini platform.

JOUBINI supports customer connectivity by setting up an IP Sec or TLS VPN gateway. Secure 1:1 connection between customers and JOUBINI. It is also possible to connect customer systems via an HTTPS connection (TLS version 1.2 or above) by integrating additional middleware such as SAP BTP / SAP PI/PO.

Depending on the business case, JOUBINI offers further options for technical integration. In the area of classic EDI, this includes protocols such as AS2/X.400/OFTP2/HTTPS, etc. FTP or SFTP is also supported.

JOUBINI already covers the technical requirements for >20 countries via one central cloud-based platform with a direct SAP integration.

Approach to resilience
JOUBINI is operated as a SaaS solution based on a multi-clustered infrastructure including databases. All resources are distributed across two Data Centers of NTT DATA Business Solutions in Germany (Bautzen and Salzenforst), as well as across different zones.

Each component provides appropriate redundancy in the event of a system failure. Automatic failovers are set up and tested regularly.

NDBS use a common incident management process for all products and services based on ITIL V4 principles.  Buyers will have access to our support desk where incident ticket types are raised, incident is triaged and forwarded to the team responsible for the resolution.
