How the planning service works
C-Squared Consultancy offers an assessment of existing plans for digital service, including the requirements for the digital service, including ERP systems. We will review the expected benefits to determine if they are achievable.
Our assessment looks at the drivers for change and includes the aspects of the current processes, technologies, the organisation and its culture. Digital solutions are an integral part of an organisation and must be selected against factors which include:
-Overall architectural compliance;
-Information flow;
-Automation of best practice processes and
-Ensuring that the staff/users can use the systems.
If the strategic selection stage has not been performed correctly, it can lead to failure or reduced benefits delivery.
We also provide specialist services to ensure that the correct digital solutions are selected through frameworks including G-Cloud. The service meets procurement rules for the public sector and ensures that the client and the supplier both understand the requirements so that a successful outcome can be achieved.

How the setup or migration service works
The strategic planning assurance service reviews the detailed business case and supporting evidence.
The review includes the high level plans and the resources and skills required for the migration to the new solution is undertaken. This includes the availability of internal staff, assigned to the project to ensure that knowledge will be retained in the organisation, thus reducing the need for ongoing external resources and reducing costs.
Migration to the new solution is divided into two major areas of the system and people. The system aspects assurance looks at the best ways information can be automatically obtained, validates and used to deliver services. Including ensuring the overall architecture is appropriate and different systems can be integrated.
The people aspect assurance looks at the end users of the system and those who operate/administer it.
Changes required to the organisation including structure, skills and culture are reviewed along with change management plans for the introduction of the new ways of working.
The risks and issues associated with the migration will also be reviewed along with mitigations and actions in place.
The governance on the project will be reviewed to ensure that the migration is being undertaken in a controlled and managed way.

We can provide key stakeholders with confidence in the quality of their change intentions by undertaking audits / reviews / health checks of their change plan / programme, which can range from an informal check through to a full assurance review.
