- How the planning service works

Syamic helps customers to understand their current state capabilities and the gap between what they have and what is needed to be able to run a transformed service management organisation. Working closely with the customer we will outline the strategic objectives for SIAM, design the Target Operating Model (TOM) which best meets the business requirements for the organisation and design the TOM to deliver the SIAM model.
The adoption of cloud services will often require a cultural shift within the customer organisation. Customers recognise that a decision to move to cloud services also requires an element of moving operational responsibility into the supply chain. However, with the design and build of the TOM which integrates organisational capability with desired business outcomes, significant operational efficiencies and enhanced end user experience will be achieved. In summary, we help customers make strategic sourcing decisions and to develop the business case for SIAM and cloud services which aligns the IT strategy to that of the business. - Planning service works with specific services

Having developed an approved Target Operating Model design and having gained the confidence of your senior leadership team, Syamic will support the migration to a new operational state.
We’ll translate the implementation of the TOM into clearly defined work packages including;
• Selecting the most appropriate project management approach, e.g. waterfall or agile;
• Design, implementation and operation of the Governance framework;
• Skills, process and tooling capability development;
• Procurement of the preferred enterprise service management toolset;
• Defining the contractual principles for new service providers;
• Initiating SIAM familiarisation, induction and training to the organisation, retained IT, service integrator and suppliers;
• Selection and on-boarding of the service integrator, either internally or externally sourced;
• Enabling cross-collaboration framework across the supplier landscape;
• The design and implementation of end-to-end service performance and reporting;
• On-boarding and, as needed, off-boarding of service providers;
• Commencement of Organisational Change Management activities.
Within Syamic, we have the skills and experience of supporting other organisations to adopt a ‘cloud first’ strategy. We translate build and design into action and will support both your senior leadership team and your service delivery organisation to share a single vision for a new and transformed future. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services
