Cloud hosting/implementation planning services provided by BLOCKPHISH would be run as a project to ensure measurable benefits realisation. The basic steps below describe how BLOCKPHISH assist organisations plan their cloud hosting/software implementations to the point where they can implement themselves or engage a third party to deliver on their behalf. The planning method would be tailored to the scale and complexity of the implementation and can be adapted to Agile methods. 1. BLOCKPHISH ensures that they fully understand the customer requirement and mandate (including budget/timeframe). This may start in the form of a project brief/business case/business requirements document/functional and or technical specifications.
2. All available information is thoroughly reviewed by BLOCKPHISH consultants and, through a series of interviews/meetings/workshops with various stakeholders, a project initiation document is developed. This is a document set which includes:
A: a project plan with initial constraints/assumptions/risks
B: the descriptions of deliverables/products/scope
C: the quality/acceptance/success criteria
3. Once completed, all resource requirements are identified, and an implementation schedule with work packages is drawn up which allows the customer, or a third party, to manage/deliver the Cloud hosting/software services.

The BLOCKPHISH Cloud Transition Service provides a full spectrum of Cloud migration assessment/design/planning/implementation and support services to assist organisations migrate existing workloads to a desired Cloud service/platform. Cloud migrations managed by BLOCKPHISH would be run as a project to ensure strategic alignment and measurable benefits realisation.
The below steps outline the basic method BLOCKPHISH uses:
1. Cloud Assessment & Design: This provides the customer with a clear view of the state of readiness of current workloads for a transition to Cloud or other Cloud services provider. The Cloud readiness assessment would include expected operational costs/performance and specific requirements analysis. BLOCKPHISH can also provide a new/revised Cloud services IT infrastructure design, and a Cloud services migration plan.
2. BLOCKPHISH would build the Cloud infrastructure components required including connectivity/security/monitoring according to the design. BLOCKPHISH consultants would conduct a POC migration of non-production workloads to validate the approach/technology/tools used and baseline performance.
3. BLOCKPHISH would manage/perform the transition of production workloads to the new Cloud service and assist/or oversee a 3rd party.
4. Post transition support would ensure that migrated workloads/services are checked/tested according to agreed specification.

Reference MAC 2.2/MAC 2.3 - we continually support our staff in training and upskilling to attain certifications and accreditations in cyber security which is a growing area with significant skills shortages. This has included employing candidates who are the 'right fit' for our organisation without any prior professional experience and investing in their development and qualifications to become cyber security consultants. We are also a member of the NCSC CyberFirst Bursary Scheme and, as well as seeking to offer placements to students, we promote CyberFirst activities through our social channels, have sponsored the CyberFirst awards and have spoken at CyberFirst events.
Reference MAC 3.1 - our supply chains are made up of other SMEs and start-ups as well as larger organisations. Whilst we are a London based agency, where feasible, we engage with smaller organisations outside of the capital to ensure that there is an economic advantage across the country.
