Web chat accessibility testing
Web chat accessibility testing has been carried out using a combination of manual testing, assistive technology tools, and user feedback to ensure the service is usable and inclusive. The web chat has been tested using screen readers, including NVDA
and VoiceOver, to confirm that messages, input fields, buttons, and status updates are correctly announced and navigable. Keyboard-only testing has been performed to verify that all chat functions
can be accessed without a mouse, with logical tab order and visible focus indicators throughout the interface. Colour contrast and text resizing have been tested to ensure content remains readable
and functional when browser zoom and accessibility settings are applied. Testing has also been conducted on both desktop and mobile
devices to confirm consistent behaviour across different screen sizes and input methods. Where possible, feedback has been gathered from users who rely on assistive technologies to identify usability issues and areas for improvement. Findings from testing have informed refinements to labelling, navigation flow, and error messaging.
Accessibility testing is repeated periodically, particularly following interface updates or feature changes, to ensure continued alignment with WCAG 2.2 AA requirements.
Support levels
We provide flexible support levels to meet the
needs of different public sector organisations,
ranging from advisory-led engagement to hands-
on specialist support. Standard Support is
included within the service and provides
scheduled advisory sessions, access to subject-
matter experts, and email-based support during
agreed business hours. This level is suitable for
organisations seeking strategic guidance,
readiness assessments, and planning support.
Costs are based on agreed day rates or fixed-
price packages defined at call-off. Enhanced
Support provides increased access to
procurement and AI specialists, faster response
times, and additional advisory sessions to support
active transformation or implementation phases.
Enhanced Support is priced on an agreed uplift to
standard day rates or as a time-bound support
package. A dedicated technical account manager
or cloud support engineer is not mandatory but
can be provided where required. Where included,
the role acts as a single point of contact,
coordinating advisory resources, managing
delivery, and supporting governance and reporting
requirements. All support levels are agreed at call-
off to ensure transparency, value for money, and
alignment with organisational needs.
