End-of-contract data extraction
At contract termination, users can export their data directly from the secure web-based portal using standard export functions. This includes reports, findings, and historical testing records in commonly used formats suitable for audit and internal retention.

Where required, Secure Nexus can support assisted data extraction to ensure completeness. After confirmation of successful data export, Secure Nexus securely removes customer data in line with contractual and data protection requirements.
End-of-contract process
At the end of the contract, Secure Nexus will follow a structured offboarding process. Customer access to the secure web-based portal is withdrawn after the agreed notice period. Prior to service termination, users can export all relevant data, including reports, findings, and historical testing records, using standard export functionality. Where required, Secure Nexus can provide reasonable assistance to support data extraction. Once data export has been confirmed, all customer data is securely deleted in line with contractual obligations and applicable data protection requirements.

The contract price includes access to the automated penetration testing platform, testing within the agreed scope and frequency, secure portal access, executive and technical reporting, expert validation of findings, and standard onboarding documentation and support.

Additional costs may apply where services are requested outside the agreed contract scope. This can include expanding the number of assets or environments tested, increasing testing frequency, providing bespoke reporting formats, delivering manual or specialist penetration testing, or extending data retention or offboarding support beyond standard arrangements.

Description of accessibility
The service is accessed via a secure, web-based portal using standard modern web browsers, with no requirement for local software installation. Access is restricted to authorised users and controlled through role-based permissions.

Authorised users can view dashboards, initiate and schedule tests within the agreed scope, access real-time and historical reports, and export findings for audit and remediation purposes.

Users cannot modify testing methodologies, execute tests outside the agreed scope, access underlying platform infrastructure, or alter validated findings. Administrative controls, platform configuration, and security oversight are managed by Secure Nexus to ensure integrity, safety, and compliance.
Accessibility testing
The service interface is delivered via a web-based portal designed in line with standard accessibility and usability principles. Formal, independent assistive technology testing has not been conducted specifically for this service. However, the interface has been reviewed internally for usability with common accessibility features, including keyboard navigation, screen magnification, and browser-based screen readers.

As the service relies on standard web technologies, it is compatible with widely used assistive tools supported by modern browsers. Secure Nexus welcomes accessibility feedback and will work with buyers to identify reasonable adjustments where required.

Availability and resilience

Guaranteed availability
Secure Nexus delivers the automated penetration testing service via a secure, cloud-hosted platform designed for high availability and resilience. The service is provided with a target availability of 99.9% per calendar month, excluding planned maintenance windows.

Availability covers access to the web-based portal, reporting functionality, historical data, and test scheduling features. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside normal business hours where possible and communicated to users in advance to minimise disruption.

Service availability and performance are continuously monitored. Any unplanned outages are recorded, investigated, and resolved in line with Secure Nexus incident management procedures, with root cause analysis undertaken where appropriate.

Where availability falls below the agreed service level, Secure Nexus will apply service credits in accordance with the contract terms. Service credits are calculated as a proportion of the monthly service charge and applied to future invoices. Credits represent the buyer’s sole remedy for availability breaches and do not include compensation for indirect or consequential losses.
Approach to resilience
Secure Nexus designs its automated penetration testing service to be resilient, reliable, and continuously available. The service is delivered using a cloud-hosted platform built on redundant infrastructure, ensuring there is no single point of failure. Core components, including the testing engines, customer portal, and reporting services, are distributed across multiple availability zones to support service continuity in the event of infrastructure failure.

Service performance, availability, and security are continuously monitored. Automated alerting enables rapid identification and response to faults or degradation, supported by defined incident management and escalation procedures. Planned maintenance and updates are carried out in a controlled manner to minimise user impact.

Customer data is logically segregated and securely stored, with regular backups to protect against data loss. Testing workloads are managed and rate-limited to prevent performance issues during periods of high demand and to ensure fair and predictable service delivery for all users.

These resilience measures ensure consistent service availability, protect customer data, and support business continuity, enabling organisations to maintain ongoing security assurance even during infrastructure failures or increased operational demand.
Outage reporting
Secure Nexus reports service outages through clear, timely, and transparent communication channels.

When an outage or service degradation is detected, Secure Nexus raises an incident through its monitoring and alerting systems. Affected customers are notified promptly via agreed communication channels, including the Secure Nexus service portal and dedicated Microsoft Teams channels.

Status updates are provided at regular intervals, detailing the nature of the issue, affected services, current impact, and remediation progress. Where relevant, estimated restoration timelines are shared.

Following resolution, Secure Nexus provides a post-incident summary outlining root cause, actions taken, and any preventative measures implemented. Availability metrics and SLA impact are reviewed as part of regular service reporting.
