Onboarding and offboarding
- Getting started
-
We support users in starting and adopting Insights Pro through a structured onboarding approach combined with a self service product design. The platform is designed to be intuitive and accessible, allowing users to begin using core functionality with minimal training. All customers have access to online guidance materials, including user documentation and feature walkthroughs, which can be accessed at any time within the service.
For customers with fewer than 100 licences, onboarding typically begins with an initial remote demonstration and walkthrough session. This session introduces the interface, core datasets, key workflows and reporting features. Following onboarding, we provide periodic remote check ins to support adoption, answer questions and highlight relevant functionality as usage matures. Ongoing support is provided through standard support channels.
For customers with more than 100 licences, we offer enhanced onboarding and adoption support. This includes in person training sessions tailored to different user groups, usage reporting to help organisations understand how the service is being used, and active account management to support wider rollout. This approach helps ensure consistent usage across teams and departments and supports long term value from the service.

- Description of service interface
- Insights Pro is delivered through a secure, browser based web interface designed for desktop and tablet use. Users access the service via individual login credentials with role based permissions. The interface combines an interactive map, configurable data layers, property level views and supporting dashboards. Users can search by address, postcode or location, toggle datasets on and off, and apply filters to refine results. Reports and visual outputs can be generated directly within the interface and exported for sharing. The service does not require local software installation and is accessible remotely using standard internet connections.
- Accessibility standards
- WCAG 2.2 AA
- Accessibility testing
- Insights Pro has been tested using common assistive technology tools and recognised accessibility practices. This includes keyboard only navigation testing, screen reader compatibility checks using NVDA and VoiceOver, and contrast testing against WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. Core user journeys such as navigation, search, data layer selection and report generation have been reviewed to ensure they are operable without a mouse. Findings from testing have informed interface adjustments including focus states, semantic labelling and clearer visual hierarchy. Accessibility testing is repeated as part of ongoing interface updates, and feedback from public sector users is incorporated into iterative improvements to support inclusive access.

Scaling
- Independence of resources
- Insights Pro is built on scalable cloud infrastructure designed to support concurrent usage without performance degradation. System resources automatically scale based on demand, ensuring consistent response times as user numbers increase. Data processing, storage and application services are separated to prevent heavy usage in one area affecting others. Usage is monitored continuously, with alerts in place to identify and address performance issues before they impact users. Capacity planning is reviewed regularly based on historical and projected usage to ensure sufficient headroom is maintained, supporting reliable access for all users regardless of overall demand.

- Supplier-defined controls
- Vulnerability management approach
- We run a continuous vulnerability management process across all environments. We assess potential threats through automated scanning, manual review and regular security assessments. Threat intelligence is taken from trusted sources including NCSC advisories, vendor bulletins and industry security feeds. Once a vulnerability is identified we triage by severity and apply patches as quickly as possible, with critical issues patched within twenty four hours in most cases. All updates are deployed through controlled release pipelines with full logging and verification. We review our process regularly to ensure it meets current security standards.
- Protective monitoring type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Protective monitoring approach
- We operate continuous protective monitoring across our platform. We use automated alerting, log analysis and anomaly detection to identify potential compromises, including unusual access patterns, failed authentication attempts and unexpected system behaviour. When a potential compromise is detected, our support and engineering teams are alerted immediately. We triage the event, contain any affected systems, and conduct rapid root cause analysis. If needed, we escalate to our senior security leads. We aim to respond to all incidents within minutes. Urgent or high risk events are acted on immediately, with follow up investigation and remediation completed as quickly as possible.
- Incident management type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Incident management approach
- We maintain pre defined processes for common events including service outages, security alerts and data access issues. Users can report incidents through our support portal or by email, which raises a ticket with our team. After an incident is resolved we provide a clear written report detailing the cause, impact and actions taken.
