Fighting climate change

workpal contributes directly to the fight against climate change: it is a wholly digital solution in response to the more traditional, out-dated practice of paper-based performance management processes, and so is greatly reducing the amount of paper used by organisations.
As a tool for facilitating remote and hybrid working we are also able to help clients vastly reduce the need to travel for /to performance meetings (particularly with larger organisations with a large and distributed estate), contributing to efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
Additionally, the use of cloud-hosted solutions like workpal is having a very positive impact on reducing infrastructure and energy consumption costs across industry. By comparison with the traditional model of an organisation having its own on-premises servers and own data warehouse(s), the use of public cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), who we partner with, provides an opportunity to dramatically reduce the environmental footprint of an organisations's IT operations. Models such as that used by AWS offer much greater efficiency and savings because of greater server efficiency and higher server utilisation, while alongside this approach, their more efficient use of data centres and reductions in energy consumption and increased use of renewable energy sources is actively helping with carbon reduction.

Covid-19 recovery

We are supporting NHS Trusts to manage and recover from the impacts of Covid-19; the use of our disruptive digital workforce performance management platform (workpal) to replace outdated NHS systems and processes is reaping benefits for senior leaders, managers, and their staff. These include savings in time and resource, streamlining of processes, better availability of data (and integrity), safer ways of working (e.g. remote and hybrid), more flexible ways of working (systems available 24/7, 365 days on any internet-enabled smart phone or tablet - in addition to desktops and laptops), and promote better workplace conditions (being based on self-service, and designed to empower staff to take ownership of their performance and development) at a time when the impact of Covid-19 continues to be felt strongly across the NHS, whether working in back-office functions or on the frontline

Equal opportunity

workpal is completely agnostic of gender, pay band, roles & responsibilities and can therefore be used to monitor all staff in an organisation.
It can also be used to flag and track mandatory training, learning and development needs for all staff in an organisation.
workpal is a great addition to the HR and OD capability of an organisation for actively promoting and monitoring implementation of equal opportunities. As a fully digital whole workforce tool, it is accessible to all, easy to use, and can be used to suit the working patterns and preferences of the user.
Similarly it can be used to provide evidence in disciplinary cases where an employer has been threatened with or taken to a tribunal.

Wellbeing

workpal supports staff/users with their health and wellbeing; managers are able to use workpal to have regular 1-2-1s with staff, to record discussions/outcomes, and track progress over time, and as a whole workforce solution, it is possible to track the wellbeing and performance of ALL staff digitally and continuously.
