Resulting achieved Net Zero in November 2021 and are a certified Climate Positive Business. We work in partnership with carbon offsetting specialists and are committed to increase our offsetting by a further 80% in the next year. We ensure all hardware is energy efficient, swapping out any End of Life (EoL) or devices without suitable Energy Star ratings. All EoL hardware is either recycled by our WEEE partners or donated to local charities and educational establishments. Most of our negative environmental impact results from transport. As such, our fleet is fully electric & we have a policy discouraging business travel, holding virtual meetings where possible. We are currently creating a Carbon Levy policy, in which we will request a small fee for required business travel. This fee will be ringfenced and used to offset our transport CO2e. Our offsetting partners provide a dashboard to show how much CO2e this fee offsets, and this will be shared this with buyers. - Equal opportunity

At Resulting, we partner with EqualWeb, an accessibility specialist, who ensure that we always meet WCAG 2.1 AA standard when designing services. EqualWeb provide training, monitoring, and accessibility testing on our services to ensure inclusivity and accessibility. For every service, we track deliverables using Kanbans, daily stand-up meetings, & excellence reviews led by our Internal Operations team, with WCAG compliance a key deliverable for all relevant services. We embed Quality Assurance testers in every team, who assess accessibility and UAT requirements during a scoping phase. This ensures inclusivity and accessibility is considered at all points through service design, with all end-customer needs considered, including the digitally excluded. Whenever we design and build any public facing service, we ensure that accessibility measures are in place. This includes providing screen magnifiers & readers, speech recognition tools, contrast controls, and ALT tags, amongst others. Resulting reduce the disability employment gap by proactively hiring software developers with severe autism and other health challenges. We are often the first employer of disabled staff, providing upskilling and an improved CV for future employment opportunities. Our job adverts use non-discriminatory language and are available in accessible formats, posted on open platforms rather than niche industry boards, in line with our annually reviewed Equal Opportunities policy. We reduce passive discrimination by not mandating degree level education. Staff have no set office hours, opening opportunities to a geographically diverse demographic. Our salaries and bonuses are linked to company performance, leading to high staff retention & year-on-year wage rises, keeping staff motivated. We hold sensitivity seminars annually to promote understanding between those of protected characteristics and those who do not share it.
