There are no planned maintenance arrangements in place. Where possible we will attempt to perform any maintenance changes out of core hours and keep any disruption to a minimum as well as informing end users, through in system messaging, of any planned maintenance.

Our first line support will triage and manage all general incidents, with a second line support team available for escalation of complex incidents or account issues. There is no additional cost for support services as it is included in the price.

Should a customer wish to end their EMIS Academy subscription (contract) they will retain access to the platform until the contract end date during which time they will be able to access and download training certificates to store locally for their ongoing use by selecting and downloading each certificate they wish to retain.

Outage reporting
The moment EMIS becomes aware of a system outage we would report this to our support and maintenance partner for EMIS Academy, Titus Learning. Resolution of Critical Issues where the issue is under Titus Learning's control is within 24 hours after EMIS notifies Titus Learning of that Critical Issue. Resolution to a satisfactory level of non-Critical Issues within 3 days after EMIS notifies Titus Learning of that non-Critical Issue.

End Users will be notified by email alert of any ongoing system outage as well as at the point of resolution.

We have different account levels set up for staff and customers. Some staff members have administrative accounts allowing them to change the appearance and add content collateral to EMIS Academy this involves logging in with MFA, while others have elevated access only allowing them to update certain parts. Our customers are set up as Super User, Manager or Learner giving them access to the front-end data.

EMIS employees are educated annually on environmental matters with an emphasis on personal responsibility regarding energy consumption and waste management. This is supported by relevant policies, such as EMIS’s Group Environmental Policy Statement and company benefits, e.g. during 2021 the Group launched a salary sacrifice scheme for employees to lease electric cars and for individuals to fund tree planting with Ecologi, who provide a route for organisations and individuals to fund climate action projects.
Through Ecologi, EMIS planted 25 saplings for each new employee who joined the business during the previous twelve months, resulting in approx. 7,300 new saplings planted in countries badly affected by deforestation.
