A thorough understanding of your current technology and business landscape will be captured through a detailed discovery phase and workshops with stakeholders. How the quality assurance and performance testing works
Quality Plans will be created as part of our overarching end-to-end project plan and will detail holistic and granular tasks, with scheduled times allocated to a dedicated testing phase. This process will use key Subject Matter Advisors and business input and Quality Plans and test scripts as well as other aspects based on the nuanced scope of each engagement. Tailored outcomes and expectations will be agreed in advance. Robust testing plans are built on key requirements and expected results to ensure quality is upheld on final deliverables. Failure to meet expectations will result in a comprehensive review, root cause analysis and retesting.

Leading Talent primarily provides project team activities and management wrapper support during standard office hours. However, we can provide an out-of-hours emergency managerial contact to cover evenings and weekends if this is required. Individual project KPIs and service levels will be discussed during contractual conversations and Discovery phase. We aim to offer a flexible and transparent service and work with the client to create a set of agreed service levels and KPIs tailored to the project(s). Leading Talent will respond to a change request or service request within 2 business days of receiving the request. A change request is defined as an alteration to an existing agreement or statement of work which could include an increase or decrease in services provided. A service request is defined as the client requesting non-standard working, for example out of business hours (9 AM to 5 PM), typically in support of a business priority or short-term specific business requirement.

We are a carbon neutral company, wholeheartedly committed to reducing our impact on the environment and acting as ambassadors to promote sustainable, clean and ethical business practices across our network. We have recruited the services of Carbon Footprint Ltd to accurately calculate our company’s carbon footprint, using DEFRA and BEIS industry approved emissions factors. This includes Scopes 1 and 2 of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, as well as a partial review of Scope 3, and our most recent annual audit identified 6.5 tonnes CO2e. As per our commitment to carbon neutrality, we offset more than we contributed (20 tonnes CO2e) through a dedicated UK-based tree planting initiative accredited and verified by VERRA (Verified Carbon Standard). This meant our net emissions for 2022 equated to negative 13.5 tonnes CO2e. In the interests of transparency, we joined the Carbon Database Initiative, providing an open platform for companies to report their carbon emissions and offsetting journey.

We have invested heavily in remote working infrastructure, embracing paperless working and virtualising meetings as default to minimise commutes and help provide increased flexibility to our workforce, as well as reducing office energy and water consumption. When face-to-face meetings, conferences, or client visits are necessary, we are committed to offsetting the carbon emissions associated with these journeys. We meticulously track each trip and offset the emissions at the time of booking. 

Additionally, we encourage our remote working employees, to recycle and be mindful of their resource consumption. We have a selection of energy saving policies and signposting suggestions to help those working remotely to take advantage of Green Energy Tariffs for their electricity and gas usage whenever possible. We also encourage energy-saving practices like putting laptops to sleep when not in use, switching them off at the end of the day, and unplugging any unused devices.

Wellbeing

Leading Talent have invested heavily in remote working infrastructure, providing employees the benefit of flexible working arrangements to support their physical and mental wellbeing, accommodate various caring duties and provide enhanced ability to control their work-life balance. This is supplemented with signposting to support services, e.g. local grievance counselling, meditation workshops and healthy lifestyle schemes. We have a dedicated wellbeing champion who is responsible for raising awareness and monitoring community-led activities that might enhance the wellbeing of our workforce, distributing details to the wider team.
All staff undergo regular supervision 1-2-1s, discussing ongoing personal and professional development. Each has their own tailored personal development plan, and are supported with paid training, coaching/mentoring and networking opportunities that result in industry recognised qualifications. All staff training is logged within our training matrix. We invest in our team, resulting in demonstrably low staff turnover and high levels of staff satisfaction.
We offer all staff members one week of paid leave for volunteering each year. This allows our team members to support the causes that are of priority to them and close to their hearts and enables us to positively impact communities that otherwise may be overlooked.
