Planning
- Planning service
- Yes
- How the planning service works
- Firstly our Technical Analysts will appraise your hosting requirement. We do this by looking at the number of websites you have, your turnover, Average Order Value, storage required, website traffic predictions, number of users, SKU/product numbers, number of orders, and website traffic during peak periods, so that we may formulate the most suitable licence and Cloud hosting solution for you. This is so that we may propose the most suitable hosting solution for you, one which is secure, performs well and guarantees uptime. The Cloud hosting is provided by Adobe as part of the Adobe Commerce platform solution, cloud hosting is provided as PAAS (Platform as a Service). This is scoped, planned, implemented and maintained by Adobe. This includes enterprise grade application & infrastructure dedicated triple redundant hosting (Azure or AWS), 24/7 support, PCI compliant cloud infrastructure, DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall, auto-application of security patches via ECE-Tools, New Relic, Fastly. Dedicated Adobe Account Management, storage, multistore capability, and uptime SLA guarantees.

To migrate to Adobe's PaaS Adobe Commerce, PushON's technical team will conduct the following tasks:
1) Review the current code base, to ensure that no modifications have been made directly to core code.
2) Review what version of Adobe Commerce is currently being run, and whether it is a supported version.
3) Review installed modules to ensure that they are compatible with Adobe Commerce Cloud.
4) Review both database configuration and size, as well as media size.
5) Review traffic and order levels for both current and future needs.
Once PushON has completed its review, it will propose a suitable hosting solution in partnership with Adobe.
Once the customer has agreed to the solutions being proposed:
1) Adobe will set up the environments for your website instance.
2) PushON will migrate the modules, the database and media to the Cloud.
Should some modules not be compatible, PushON would quote for development work to re-purpose / re-build for the new instance. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

Fighting climate change
PushON works primarily remotely as a business since the pandemic, minimising trips into the office and associated costs, and thus offsetting carbon emissions. Business meetings are always appraised against whether they need to be in-person or whether they can be held as effectively remotely. If they need to be in person, we will always look to use public transport as a first option rather than by car. We are committed to managing both our own greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprint, and our association with any and all other entities and individuals who have environmental impact and influence, be they suppliers, customers, shareholders, government bodies, associations, institutions or other stakeholders. If we’re adding to the pollution of any of these during the performance of our business duties, we need to take responsible action to avoid, mitigate and manage these impacts. Our staff are primarily remote and thus travel is kept to a minimum. All business trips are prioritised for public transport above travel by car. We are committed to supporting the circular economy and to playing out part in ensuring the efficient and responsible use and disposal of resources. We expect staff to make conscious efforts to consider reusing, repurposing, repairing and/or recycling items where it is prudent and responsible to do so. Regards waste management from bins, to food, to paper, we aim to conduct our business consciously and deliberately in less traditionally wasteful ways. We expect staff to evaluate what waste what can you reduce or avoid altogether, as you go out about your contracted duties.Tackling economic inequality
In our efforts to tackling economic inequality, we strive to build long-lasting and fair partnerships with suppliers and emphasise that our selection of those suppliers is based on not only expertise, but also business behaviour, values, accreditations and certification that meet the criteria required of them. Our policy of selection is not predicated on cost alone. We regularly appraise our suppliers to asses whether they have breached / failed to demonstrate good practise and commitments to equality, slavery, and behaviour towards their employees. Any contracts signed with suppliers will be triaged on having suitable clauses relating to equality, security, and employment policies.Equal opportunity
We're committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in our business practices and daily treatment of each other (including in ensuring fairness, open- mindedness, tolerance and respect for gender, ethnicity, age, disability, etc of all individuals). Everyone is entitled to fair pay, working hours and conditions and equal rights to opportunities. Human rights (e.g. the rights to clean working conditions, to freedom of speech and expression, freedom of assembly, of identity, and the right to join unions). We will uphold all human rights relevant to our business activities. We expect all of our suppliers to share a similarly uncompromising commitment to the same levels of compliance we set out. As a condition of our trading relationship, any supplier to our business will be asked to confirm to our designated anti-slavery officer that they comply with all relevant legal obligations and industry best practices applicable to their business, including those relating to modern slavery. In addition to this statement of self-certification, we will also ask for specific confirmation that our suppliers do not, in any part or aspect of their business, or business relationships, engage in slavery, forced labour or servitude, child labour, or human trafficking.Wellbeing
Ensuring constant occupational health and safety, which covers: physical health and safety of our workers and those with whom we come into contact while performing contracted duties, physiological health and safety of our workers and those with whom we each and all come into contact while carrying out our contracted duties (e.g. ensuring that those working in stressful positions or roles exposed to violence are adequately protected, supported and supervised). We're committed to upholding and monitoring the wellbeing of all those covered by our policy and to ensuring that behaviours, practices or processes that could negatively impact employee wellbeing are identified, eradicated and, if necessary, sanctioned and proactively prevented from recurring.
We offer staff an Employment Assistance Scheme, private healthcare benefits, which include access to mental wellbeing helplines, help with legal and financial matters, and more. We offer staff time off to conduct charity work. Managers meet regularly with staff where wellbeing is discussed. We train staff and run courses on wellbeing using external psychologists.
