Getting started
- Users are provided with training for our services through online webinars. These are delivered via video conference e.g. Teams, Zoom.
-We also provide easy to follow video guides within the system to help navigate the software.
- Further support is available via Phone, Email, and Chat. This is available Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.
-This is free of charge with the purchase of each user license,
-On site training is available upon request for an additional fee.

-With all licenses we offer a managed installation service. This means we help users build simulations and run analyses so that they understand how this works, and realise maximum benefit from the software. This is available at an additional cost.

Description of customisation
There are more than 50 configuration settings in the Align Platform and across its modules. Multiple modules are available for different types of service planning i.e. Out Patient service planning, PTL planning, AHP planning, A&E planning, and the Job Plan Match module has different configurations for different services.

Availability and resilience

Reasonable endevours have been taken in building our software to optimise the service as a muli-tenancy application facilitating quick and consistent reponse across all users. Our services are availabale 24 hours a day 7 days a week, We ensure >99.9% average monthly application uptime. In the event of necessary site maintenance, this is completed outside of standard working hours and clients are notified in advance when maintenance is occuring, and the length the site will be unavailable.
Approach to resilience
Hosting our software via Azure ensures secure, protected, and fast service. All data is secured via Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and routinely backed up in a geo-redundant location and encrypted via AES 256-bit. Reasonable endevours have been taken in building Job Plan Match to optimise the service as a muli-tenancy application facilitating quick and consistent reponse across all users. Job Plan Match has the ability to scale across multiple servers and services as the user base expands, as the Azure platform is readily scalable.
Outage reporting
We report any disasters/ outages and implement our Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity policy and procedure by email to all main Administrative and Managerial contacts at customers' sites. This is set up and we have a communications plan ready for activation in the event of a disaster/outage.

Information security policies and processes
The Align Platform has stringent information governance processes which encompass policies, training, and testing our staff must adhere to. Administrative access to the hosting and data environment is secured to white listed IP addresses and Multi-Factor Authentication when accessing all data. External verification is achieved through assessment against Cyber Essentials Plus.

Our data centre provider, Azure, provided by Microsoft, adheres to the Security Classification Definitions as described in the Government Security Classifications Policy (GSCP). This is outlined and defined in Azure Service Trust Portal and forms part of their overall integrated management system, which consists of UKAS / APMG / NCSC accredited systems. Notably; ISO 27001, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC3, FedRAMP, HITRUST, MTCS, IRAP, and ENS. All are regularly audited for compliance by an accredited certifying body. These standards require our provider to have robust controls in place to manage data, documents and records.

Vulnerability management approach
Staffing Science Ltd conducts risk assesments, implements and monitors system logs, enforces access control, and configuration managment to prevent vulnerbailities to software. In the event of a vulnerability notification/incident we adhere to an incident response, notification and remediation policy, and follow strict data protection in accordance with the GDPR (UK). To this end, we patch any critical, high, or exploitable CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) within seven days of discovery. Threats are identifed via routine internal checks for vulneabilities, and penetration testing.

Staffing Science Ltd adheres to strict policies including but not limited to IT Security, Access Control, Bring Your Own Device and Data Retention.
