XMA provide end to end Cloud Solution services and have a significant experience in managing customer risk in the projects we deliver especially when Information Governance and secure asset disposal. We specialise in IT Asset Disposal Data Destruction and Device recycling in preparation to transition to the cloud. We are fully compliant with WEEE and Environmental legislation to allow for full consideration in customer cloud projects, minimising delays and risk

How the setup or migration service works
The service includes a web portal to allow customers to submit collection requests and to track the status of the equipment from initial submittal through to final reporting.Pick-ups are scheduled within 5 days from the time of receiving an official Pick-up Request. The equipment must be de-installed and consolidated to a ground floor central location. Once received, the devices are securely data wiped and entered into the asset management and inventory system. Media that fails the data wipe process are removed and put beyond use before being physically destroyed. The units are then designated for final disposition between the options of Remarket or Recycle.
Remarket designated units are held in inventory awaiting remarketing by our Product Managers at the optimum time to ensure maximum resale value.
Recycle designated units are consolidated and shipped to a recycling facility for compliant environmental waste disposal

How the support service works
Our support desk analysts resolve issues across a breadth of cloud hosting and software services supplied by XMA. Working closely with our cloud hosting and software service providers, we provide operational service support to various government clients, including initial triage and fault resolution. We will manage our cloud hosting and software service providers following their service level agreements, aligning our SLAs with theirs. Advanced support options are tied to specific services and will vary depending upon buyer requirements and upon the nature of the services supported. Please contact XMA directly for details.

Working hand-in-hand with our customers to provide a full cloud-focussed solution, we also provide ITAD services which facilitates customers to not only maximise any residual value of their current on-premise estate, but also proactively ensure all applicable hardware is repurposed or recycled, again further minimising carbon footprint and unnecessary use of raw materials
