Our approach adopts the following methodology:
Define Future State
Collaborate with key housing stakeholders to define the future state architecture vision, prioritising objectives and aligning the relevant architecture with the programme phases.
Develop EA Framework
Establish an EA framework that defines principles, standards, and guidelines for architecture development. Establish a Technical Design Authority.
Solution Blueprint
Define the solution blueprint for Transformation Programme outlining the overarching architecture, and approach for achieving the Programme goals; a roadmap for design and development.
Data Architecture/Strategy/Modelling/Governance
Create the data architecture that addresses data migration, integration, quality, and governance.
Establish the enterprise data model.
Propose a data warehousing & lakehouse approach to consolidate and manage data effectively.
Application Architecture
As is state analysis including current application architectures.
Identify and recommend the software solution, interfaces, and integration points for each phase of deployment.
Infrastructure Architecture
Support infrastructure design to cloud-migration, environment-setup and management, backup/ recovery for the business continuity. Infrastructure design will be reused for each phase.
Add additional components e.g. asset management system and network integration to third parties.
Vendor Selection
Support the selection of capable solution vendor(s), evaluating solutions based on selection criteria incorporating the overall housing management requirements plus architectural alignment, scalability, and compatibility. - Planning service works with specific services

Cloud migration services involve the transfer of data, applications, and other business elements from an organization's on-premises infrastructure to the cloud, or from one cloud environment to another. We can help you, providing:
Assessment and planning: Analyzing your current IT environment, identifying which elements can be migrated to the cloud, and developing a migration plan.
Cloud architecture design: Creating the cloud environment that suits your requirements, including choosing the right cloud service model (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment model (public, private, hybrid). This also involves selecting the best cloud provider that meets your needs and budget.
Migration execution: Moving data and applications to the cloud environment, including applying tools and methods to reduce downtime and ensure data quality. This also involves developing a business case and a budget plan for the migration project, as well as identifying and mitigating any potential risks.
Post-migration support: Offering continuous support to guarantee the cloud environment is properly set up, improved, and secure. This also involves monitoring the performance and availability of the cloud services, as well as providing training and guidance to end-users. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

Testing including SIT, OAT, Performance Testing:
Our consultants are well-versed in Agile testing approaches ensuring smooth execution of stages such as SIT, OAT, Security, and Performance Testing. Quick resolution of defects, requirement changes, and design adjustments is crucial to prevent blockers for other teams. Our consultants work closely with the QA team in the triage process, offering in-depth understanding of defects and features to expedite fixes for quick resolutions.
OAT & Performance Testing Support:
Testing non-functional requirements can be complex, especially when end customers are involved. Our architecture will define a catalog of non-functional requirements and facilitate sessions to gather and define values for requirements related to performance and business continuity. We help define performance testing, security testing, and other non-functional testing approaches and provide documentation and review/feedback on these approaches.
Review and Audit:
In addition to initial reviews of Enterprise and Data Architectures, we offer Architecture as a Service (AaaS) inclusive of periodic EA, Solution and Data architecture reviews and audits to ensure that the architecture continues to meet business objectives, remains compliant and adopts best practice.

Fighting climate change
Lashan Digital is committed to delivering sustainable technical solutions. Our vision is to tackle climate change and reduce the impact of tech upon the environment by developing solutions which reduce carbon emissions, conserve natural resources and minimise waste. We will support our G-Cloud customers by working together in line with the Greening Government ICT and Digital Services Strategy and incorporating these into our solutions. Lashan has a sustainable sourcing policy/strategy for hardware, software, hosting, spares, consumables, and professional services. As a cloud-based service, physical hardware and consumables are minimal; services can be accessed from anywhere; we will harness the web for virtual meetings, sharing e-training and documentation reducing paper and waste. Where waste is produced, we recycle – including the use of WEEE recycling for technical kit.
We are fully supportive of the Greening Government Commitments 2021 to 2025 (GGC) (which provide guidance/mandates to UK government and their suppliers on minimising emissions, conserving resources, and supporting natural spaces and biodiversity recovery) and will aim to deliver positive social value towards the UK’s emissions reduction targets. We will work with our G-Cloud clients to secure sustainable Cloud solutions and to manage carbon emissions proactively year on year.Equal opportunity
Through Lashan’s Equality, Inclusion and Diversity (EDI) Policies and Procedures we ensure that our culture and working practices are inclusive, diverse and welcoming. We provide a positive environment with opportunities for all staff, including those from disadvantaged or minority groups. We are particularly keen to encourage women into tech (who are often under-represented) and as part of our G-Cloud commitments, we will drive this aim through increased, focused marketing and free online introductory sessions for women to explore Cloud architecture skills. We are also keen to provide opportunities to Apprentices and will commit to the provision of at least two Apprenticeship opportunities over the course of this G-Cloud contract.
