Simpplr standard support offers a 24/7/365 follow-the-sun support team with standard SLA’s, online and phone support channels. This is included with our base Simpplr One Pricing and Packaging

Our Premium Support is an alternative paid option and offers 24/7/365, follow-the-sun support team with more aggressive SLA’s, as well as online and phone support channels. Pricing is based on Segment.

We also offer a Technical Account Manager who acts as a designated technical support resource and technical strategist to help guide you through all technical strategy with your Intranet. This is optional and includes an additional cost.

Getting started
We provide a variety of support to get started with Simpplr. Our goal is for customers to develop self-sufficiency in the platform.

Prior to launch we will guide your implementation and offer strategic guidance to help get the platform set up optimally. Post-go-live our Customer Success team will help get the most out of our best practices and critical success factors.

In addition, for the key roles (e.g. System administrators, Application managers, Site managers, Content managers), we provide access to our eLearning materials with role-based, self-paced video modules.

While we do provide more formal end-user training (as part of a Statement of Work), it's usually not needed for the majority of your users as Simpplr is very intuitive. It's really there for those users who want to become power-users.

Access to the eLearning platform is granted to any user at the customer organisation. The video modules are kept up to date with every quarterly Simpplr release. Simpplr also has a knowledge base of help articles, video tutorials, product information and best practice articles available to our customers for quick self-service.

End-of-contract data extraction
If a customer terminates their contract with Simpplr, they will be able to work with their assigned Simpplr Customer Success Manager to obtain a backup of their Simpplr system data.
End-of-contract process
Simpplr is delivered as a SaaS solution and data is returned at termination. The end-of-contract process is governed by our MSA.

Differences between the mobile and desktop service
Simpplr has developed dedicated, native, mobile apps for iOS and Android. Due to the smaller form factor offered by the mobile interface, Simpplr's apps are designed primarily for content consumption rather than content creation. Some administrative functions are available via the app, e.g. Site managers can approve content or membership requests remotely. Currently, other administrative capabilities, such as managing intranet configurations, permissions, or content creation are managed via the web browser application only.

APIs are available for every feature within Simpplr. There are also 200+ out-of-the-box integrations built for interoperability. It is possible to build on top of our ready-to-use framework and customise workflows without the extra maintenance.

Description of customisation
Simpplr allows the user interface and branding to be customised using a simple interface built into the frontend of the platform. Business users with no technical skills are able to make changes.
Home dashboards can be customised using pre-built tiles and layouts that enable end users to make changes to the user experience.
Additionally, tiles include a tile for embedding custom HTML and a tile for linking to 3rd party applications (App tile)
Custom, actionable notifications can be pushed into the Notification centre.
In future versions of the AI Assistant it will be possible to link it to 3rd party applications.

The architecture behind the service was designed to handle millions of users. We scale as rapidly as our customers require. We are very conscious of performance and have designed the service to be scalable in such a way that we can constantly stay ahead of customer demand.

Configuration and change management approach
Our ISMS prescribes our risk management framework for assessing and managing risk to the Simpplr environment. Assessments are conducted regularly and inform our various audited frameworks, including ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 1, SSAE 16, PCI, and NIST. This is one form of change management. Simpplr has a formal and structured change control process in the production environment to ensure that proposed changes for critical systems are authorized and auditable.

Vulnerability management approach
Simpplr tests all code for security vulnerabilities before release, and regularly scans our network and systems for vulnerabilities. Third-party assessments are also conducted regularly.

Patches can be deployed as needed. Depending on the severity and the risk to the production systems, security patches can be scheduled for immediate deployment or deferred to an appropriate planned maintenance interval.

Simpplr follows vulnerability and risk advisory feeds (like US-CERT and SANS), monitors security forums and social media, follow security leaders, and takes training and webinars on emerging security threats.

Simpplr has a formal Incident Management Process. During a security incident, the process guides Simpplr personnel in management, communication, and resolution activities. Internally, Simpplr's network has an IPS/IDS appliance at the gateway between internet-facing systems and the Internet. Access to these systems is restricted to authorized personnel and all these systems, as well as the host platforms, are monitored in real-time through a security monitoring system
