Coding Fury offers guidance in the selection of appropriate topics and skill levels for training (introductory, intermediate and advanced).
Course Modules can be tailored for specific roles: consumers, commissioners or creators of python programs.
CONSUMERS need to know how to find, read and interpret visualised data. They may need to be able to run python programs or sometimes modify a program to process new data, e.g. monthly data refreshes. These users exist at all levels of an organisation.
COMMISSIONERS need to: (1) Be able to identify data that could be processed to gain actionable insight for their organisation (2) Understand the strengths and capabilities of Python versus other technologies (e.g. Excel, R, and Power BI, Tableau). (3) Understand what machine learning and AI is, and when it's an appropriate choice. (4) Know how to spec, commission and manage a data science project using Python. (5) Understand how Python programs can be deployed to the cloud.
CREATORS need to know how to design, architect, and write Python programs for running locally, or to scale for cloud deployment.
Modules may also be customised to use data examples which are appropriate to the organisation. - Planning service works with specific services

Coding Fury demonstrates effective stewardship of the environment through the implementation of its Carbon Monitoring and Reduction Policy: The online learning portal reduces the necessity for face-to-face delivery of training (and associated travel). We promote working from home to reduce regular travel. Our main home office uses solar power, and the electricity usage is monitored by smart meters. As far as possible, we operate a paperless office and opt for online communications, invoicing etc. In order to influence and encourage team members to steward the environment, the team maintains a shared folder where we have built fairly elaborate financial models regarding the savings to be achieved for everything from installing solar power in the home to heat pump tumble driers and Battery Electric Vehicles.Wellbeing
Wellbeing
Coding Fury offers the option of virtual training alongside trainees on the same course who are receiving face-to-face training. This helps improve the physical and mental well-being of the workforce at times when they would have found it hard to travel to attend a face-to-face course. For example, on numerous occasions, we've been happy to facilitate staff dialling into training when they've been "nearly better", i.e. unwell enough to spread a virus to their colleagues, but well enough to attend the training.
