- How the planning service works
-
The Foundation has developed Momentum, creative planning & delivery methodology designed to meet organisational objectives. We take a deep dive into your world; go where you go; see what you see; explore your challenges; understand your vision for the future and work with you to create a plan with the power to get you there. We develop a robust strategy, going on to create effective rollout programmes for optimisation:
Early collaboration to challenge thinking and provide an aligned brief – engaging the right stakeholders on all sides.
Design to be informed by solid research, developing strategic directions based on insight and understanding.
Frequent check-ins to inform tactical and creative pathways – focusing on strategy and initial directions of travel.
Quality is key and underpinned by process – internal checkpoints to ensure all work is being reviewed by an experienced team.
Pretesting needs to be a consideration – real world feedback on proposed routes using testing extensively to get insights.
Master rollout but focus on driving longer term growth, proactively measuring impact and using regular sessions to bring more growth opportunities.
Reflection is key to learning; learning is key to growing – project reviews for every project to measure impact. - Planning service works with specific services

We recognise ISO 26000 as a reference standard that provides us with guidance for the implementation of socially responsible behaviour that focuses on a commitment to drive our contribution across a range of relevant environmental issues including:
Delivering services in an environmentally sensitive manner (i.e., reducing greenhouse gas emissions through minimisation of transport related impacts/ the use of technology and forward planning).
Purchasing environmentally friendly materials (i.e., use of recycled paper, and for physical items ensuring sustainable route to printing and delivery is taken).
Energy efficiency measures (i.e., low energy office lighting, computers and monitors switched off every evening, heating off between May and September etc.).
Recycling measures and responsible waste disposal (i.e., policy of minimum waste upheld by all staff, hazardous waste removed by specialist licensed contractors).Wellbeing
The provision of this service will deliver against theme 5 ‘Wellbeing’ with the intended outcome of implementing measures to improve the health and wellbeing of employees.
We support and enhance the physical health and mental/ emotional wellbeing of our workforce. Here’s some of the initiatives already implemented:
Hybrid working enables staff to work from home at least two days a week.
‘Winter Wellbeing’ gives staff two daylight hours of free time twice a month.
Regular staff development reviews ask our employees input on how the training budget is spent, and considers how we can increase skills/ efficiencies and how we can support individual career progression.
Our Employee Engagement team leads charity work and local contributions.
Our Health and Wellbeing Programme hosts regular workshops around areas of staff interest, arranged by our Health Champion.
A health cash plan allows employees to claim money back towards the cost of their essential healthcare, and gives them free access to valuable health and wellbeing services.
We installed a permanent office defibrillator and trained employees in basic first aid.
Two colleagues are trained Mental Health First Aiders.
Employees get two days paid leave annually for causes that matter to them personally.
The annual company summit gives our employees a voice and enables them to help shape the future of our company.
We use ‘Office Vibe’ to track how employees feel and to highlight issues or problems in an anonymous way. We have an overall employee engagement score of 75%.
We have an ‘open door’ policy and encourage staff to ask questions, raise concerns, and suggest improvements. We value everyone and their contribution. We communicate updates regularly, both by email and in person, while making sure that each and every employee knows they are in part responsible for why The Foundation works so well.
