Service scope

Service constraints
Assessment requires temporary access to network traffic data, configurations or security platforms, subject to customer approval. Passive data collection relies on suitable deployment locations or existing tooling. Delivery timelines depend on environment size, data availability and stakeholder engagement. Findings are based on the agreed scope and assessment period and do not constitute continuous monitoring. Remediation actions remain the responsibility of the customer unless additional services are commissioned. All data is handled securely and treated as strictly confidential in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

The service includes structured onboarding to agree scope, objectives and data handling requirements. ITSUS consultants deploy and execute tool‑assisted discovery activities, analyse findings in the context of the customer’s environment, and produce a clear security assessment report. Support includes walkthrough sessions with security, network and leadership teams to explain risks, findings and recommended actions.
Customers receive regular progress updates during delivery, followed by a formal presentation and Q&A session covering assessment results, security posture benchmarks and a prioritised remediation roadmap with suggested ownership and timescales.
Support is delivered by UK‑based, MOD‑cleared cyber security consultants experienced in defence, public sector and regulated environments. Optional enhanced support includes deeper configuration reviews, repeated benchmarking, vendor liaison, and follow‑on advisory or co‑managed security services. All engagement is collaborative, evidence‑based and aligned with recognised best practice and security standards.
