- Test Assurance: assure that all sub-components and components of the solution being delivered meet the defined standard and maintaining traceability to ensure that defect triage is rapid and in the right direction
- End-to-End integration testing: integration testing of the interfaces between applications of the solution.
- Test automation: the test service team will continuously identify opportunities for automation of test scripts, evaluate the ROI of automation and present a business case where such automation will drive future benefits in the form of cost, time and effort reduction for the program
- Test Management: the service has a nominated role responsible for creating a test strategy, building a test plan, tracking and managing to test against the test plans, reporting and defect management, resourcing the test team and coordinating with the solution stakeholders.
