This has included creating work experience programmes and providing 4-week unwaged placements for persons with a registered disability who are seeking employment to work, to work directly on our public sector contracts.
Activities and Resources That Will be Used to Plan and Deliver the Requirements:
• Expleo already works in partnership with the approved broker Disability Action (DA), the largest pan-disability organisation in NI. Expleo’s HR team will work closely with the relevant organisations and charities to select and manage the placements and support them throughout the programme, ensuring that they satisfy the relevant Social Value criteria.
• Our Account Management team will work closely with client representatives and our senior resources on contracts when services commence, to identify the most appropriate opportunities and timings for the placements.
• The Account Management team will take the participants through onboarding and manage them through our upskilling process to define their Individual Development Plans and provide training. They will assign them a mentor and a buddy who will ensure that they are provided with meaningful work experience, training and development with measured outcomes and objectives, greatly enhancing their opportunities for future employment.
• The timescale will be agreed upon with the client and charity partners.

• In addition to full access to the H&W initiatives, the account management team will ensure that the WBW group provides 8 one-hour-long update sessions, one every quarter, to the teams, to check on their wellbeing and ensure that they are fully aware of the latest Expleo H&W initiatives, bringing guest speakers from our partners, such as Vitality, where appropriate.
We partner with charities to enable our workforce to work with and contribute to initiatives that improve community wellbeing, such as MenShed.
