We are a technical consultancy specialising in performance testing. We can provide expert advice on specific aspects or complete end to end services. Our approach covers:
PLANNING: We work with the team to develop an approach tailored to the type of project and preferred way of working. Identifying and agreeing scope, requirements, approach, volumetrics, environments, data, tools and monitoring.
PREPARATION: Tests are designed based on system architecture, workload requirements and delivery approach. Targeting specific aspects to identify problems and validate operational requirements. Test tools (e.g. Jmeter/gatling/k6/loadrunner/neoload/wiremock) and observability frameworks (e.g. Grafana/elasticsearch/influx/ Prometheus) are installed and configured as required. EXECUTION: Execution is sequenced and automated, with fault finding cycles carried out to diagnose problems. We use a number of different observational, experimental and statistical methods to analyse and identify issues. Combining metrics, logs and trace data for each architectural layer alongside test tool throughput and response time data.
REPORTING: Comprehensive reporting at the end of testing or testing phases provides a summary of results, test status and residual risks.
We have experience of government platforms (e.g. Rosa), core technology infrastructure and cloud providers such as AWS and Azure. We also run other non-functional testing (NFT) services (e.g. resilience, DR).
