At the end of the contract term, access to the Zscaler Internet Access SaaS platform is withdrawn and the service subscription expires. Users are able to export configuration data and reports prior to contract end using the service’s standard export and API capabilities. Any remaining data is handled in accordance with Zscaler’s standard SaaS data retention and deletion policies.
The contract price includes access to the Zscaler Internet Access SaaS platform and the associated software licences for the agreed subscription term. It does not include implementation services, onboarding, configuration, training, managed operations, or premium support.

API usage
Zscaler Internet Access provides APIs that allow users to programmatically configure and integrate aspects of the service.
Using the API, users can set up and manage security policies, automate user and group updates, retrieve configuration and reporting data, and integrate the service with identity providers and security monitoring platforms. Service configuration can be established by authenticating to the API and submitting supported configuration objects in line with Zscaler’s published specifications.
Users can make changes through the API to supported policies and settings, subject to the same validation rules, licence entitlements, and controls as changes made through the user interface.
Limitations
API functionality is limited to capabilities exposed by Zscaler’s published APIs. Not all administrative actions are available via API. API access is subject to authentication requirements, rate limits, and service controls. A Zscaler administrator can update this information by selecting the edit option, uploading a new logo in a supported format (.png, .jpg, or .gif) with a maximum size of 300 × 150 pixels, and modifying organisational details such as the company name, country, language, time zone, and address. Changes are applied once saved.
