Restore Technology can provide a secure UK based UDP Cloud Direct - Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) during any physical transition / migration. This allows our clients to place their business critical applications on to our cloud based environment for a short period of time, before, during and following the migration process.
An end-to-end service from deployment to failback that serves as an insurance for companies that cannot afford to invest in a secondary site for disaster recovery.
Automated backups transfer data safely offsite with little-to-no need of regular human attention, while multiple validation points ensure data is fully recoverable.
With no hardware to procure, install, deploy, maintain and manage, you eliminate an additional point of failure from your architecture during a critical physical migration process. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

Fighting climate change
Restore Group have a broad Environment, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) strategy, ‘Restoring Our World’ with a central pillar to become a Net Zero organisation by 2035. To support the strategy, Restore Technology have implemented the following improvements:
• Facilities: Environmentally-friendly processes are weaved into operations, from solar panels to help power to smart, motion-detecting lighting systems to water saving devices.
• Zero to landfill: We destroy data whilst keeping the assets intact, meaning they can find new life elsewhere and are diverted from landfill. Furthermore, our recycling processes allow us to segregate tonnes of materials which is sent on to vetted recycling partners for material reclamation.
• EV fleet: As part of our commitment, we are in the process of reviewing fleet electrification from fossil to sustainable power, primarily in the form of electric vehicles (EV).
• Sustainable reporting: Our customer service portal allows customers to generate their sustainability report. The system calculates the environmental benefits of your IT reuse and recycling.
We have developed an outline plan to both challenge and support our supply chain. This includes using a combination of financial analysis, tactical changes and supplier engagement and education. We also continually engage with our colleagues through meetings, emails and intranet messages that encourage all aspects of our environmental strategy. This is supported by our employee forums, ensuring direct and open communication.
Customers and communities are updated on our ESG progression though news articles and blog posts on our website and social media pages. We are actively seeking a partner to assess and quantify our existing biodiversity coverage, with the goal to actively encourage our facilities and colleagues to expand areas for nature (e.g., planting wild meadow seeds to encourage pollinators, etc.).Covid-19 recovery
To support in achieving the policy outcomes in local communities, Restore Technology have engaged in the following activities:
• Continued to expand our business throughout the pandemic, opening new employment opportunities in a variety of communities nationwide.
• Committed to the professional development of all our employees and have continued this throughout the pandemic to ensure people can progress in our career. A range of internal training opportunities have been continuously available, with additional online learning resources available via LinkedIn learning.
To ensure our facilities have remained safe places to work throughout the pandemic, we have enacted the following measures:
• Reviewed government guidelines daily to ensure our practices remained aligned with health and safety guidelines. Socially distanced daily briefings were held throughout the pandemic to relay any updates to processes to maintain safety.
• Opened a colleague forum on our intranet, Circle, to enable two-way discussion between colleagues and management staff. This allowed for the free discussion of concerns within the workplace and to ensure appropriate measures were implemented to allay concerns.
• Provided hand sanitiser and facemasks at entranceways and bathrooms in all facilities to support correct use of PPE and hand hygiene. Training in the use of these items was provided during daily team briefings.
• Rolled out hybrid working wherever possible. This is still in place to support safety within our facilities, with most employees now working hybrid.
• Offered Teams meetings to all customers to minimise presence required on site by our personnel.
• Reviewed all policies and processes alongside each customer’s requirements, ensuring any additional protective measures required are implemented.
• Created additional break rooms to create more space for employees to comfortably take breaks and relax within “no work” spaces.Tackling economic inequality
With the addition of new buyer opportunities gained through Restore Technology being an approved supplier on G-Cloud 14, we gain more prospects to tackle economic inequality across the UK. Our key deliverables are as follows:
Creating employment opportunities: Restore Technology promote economic sustainability to tackle unemployment and facilitate the development of skills in the local community. We employ 300+ staff members across our nationwide facilities thus reducing unemployment levels with the income earned leading to improve the local economy.
Offering promotion opportunities: Furthermore, all internal positions will be clearly advertised to all colleagues in a variety of accessible formats. These will be placed in organisation-wide areas of our intranet and in physical format at site-specific announcement boards to encourage promotion from within the company.
Creating training opportunities: We provide access to training materials and resources through a variety of formats. This ensures all colleagues can access training courses designed to improve their skillsets at leisure and attain their desired role. This can be accessed continuously through our intranet.
Undertaking pay reviews: We continue to ensure that all colleagues are paid in line with or above current market rates. This will be supported by the market benchmarking activities undertaken on our behalf by consultants Omni. We will continue to report on the gender pay gap annually, in line with legislation.
Diverse supply chain: Relying on a single supplier can increase vulnerability to disruptions. We therefore use multiple suppliers for consumables and maintenance services to ensure business continuity in the event one supplier cannot delivery their service.
Foster collaboration across the supply chain: We believe that collaboration with other suppliers, customers and stakeholders is crucial for enhancing supply chain resilience. Sharing information on best practice, innovation and working together to have a mutually beneficial relationship is key.Equal opportunity
Restore Technology operate under the Employment Policies of our parent company, Restore PLC, which includes (but are not limited to) Equal Opportunities, including gender, race, nationality, disability, sexual orientation etc. Our HR department monitors of the numbers of job applicants from different genders, backgrounds, disability and ethnic groups. The policy is aligned with The Equality Act 2010.Our equal opportunities strategies include:

• Equal Pay: We are committed to the principle of equal pay for men and women if they are undertaking work which is substantially similar or is of equal value. We also embrace both International Men’s and International Women’s Day and promote equal opportunities across the business.
• Career Progression: We ensure that our employees can attain the roles they desire and have access to any additional training to achieve this. We hold regular 1-2-1s between each colleague and their line manager, ensure all internal positions will be clearly advertised to all colleagues in a variety of accessible formats and provide access to training materials and resources through a variety of formats.
• Disability Considerations: We will make adjustments to accommodate disabled employees where it is possible and reasonable. For example, we can provide extra equipment or support, we can re-arrange duties and we can make limited changes to our premises or can ask our clients to make changes to the premises we occupy in appropriate cases.Wellbeing
