Onboarding and offboarding

Getting started
Ezytreev is housed on our dedicated hosted servers and you will be provided with your own systems area within these servers. With the aid of information templates, we can configure and implement your system simply and quickly. Data migration can also be achieved via our custom-built data migration tool which allows pre-existing data to be acquired from any accessible data source e.g. Excel spreadsheet, Access database, SQL database etc. User-definable elements of the system will be set up during implementation. Training is delivered through remote one-to-one sessions, or for multiple participants, on-premise sessions can be arranged.

What users can and can't do using the API
A Web Service API is available to support interaction between the ezytreev Enquiries system and corporate CRM systems, allowing incoming data to auto-create an enquiry record in ezytreev and for status updates to be retrieved by the CRM system via the API as the enquiry is progressed.
A Web Feature service (WFS) is available for exporting tree/asset data for display in other GIS based systems.
Further APIs are planned, although automated scheduled imports and exports of GIS compatible and other asset data can already be configured where needed which covers many requirements.

Customisation available
Description of customisation
Ezytreev allows users to build their own system to suit
their unique data collection or analysis requirements by:
-Choosing from a range of specialised add-on modules and features,
-Setting-up customisable data fields, adding drop-down menus and tick-boxes, tailoring data formats and defining recommended work priorities.
-Setting-up asset categories/types and items with customisable symbols associated with them.
-Defining colours to display trees/assets on the maps based on various attributes, including re-inspection (both overdue inspections and imminent inspections), risk category, and work priority assigned to an individual item.
-Generating customisable reports.
- Enquiries & Private trees module allow user customisation of statuses and workflow, required timescales and standard letter templates for generation.
-TPO module allows customisation of consultation timescales, workflow checklists, application statuses, amenity method/calculator, standard letter templates for generation

Fighting climate change

Fighting climate change

More and more sites across the UK are now using Ezytreev data for their environmental assessments. Treeconomics works with local authorities to assess their trees, providing them with detailed data, reports and action plans, that focus on the benefits trees provide to communities (www.treeconomics.co.uk/).

To accomplish this, Treeconomics use existing tree inventory data exported from Ezytreev, and the open-source i-Tree Eco software application. i-Tree Eco (www.itreetools.org/) is a sophisticated computer model which quantifies the structure, composition and environmental benefits of urban trees and then calculates their benefits and value to society. Once a council’s urban forest has been surveyed, i-Tree Eco is able to provide key data about its structure, composition and benefits using Ezytreev system data.

Treeconomics turn this data into informative briefings and reports that clearly demonstrate the trees’ replacement value in monetary terms and the ecosystem services these trees provide. Data from the assessment can be used to support a strategic and evidence-based approach in the development of management plans, policy and setting priorities for an area's trees and green spaces.

Our partner ASK4 Ltd’s operated tier 2 data centre has made the switch to 100% renewable energy to dramatically reduce its carbon footprint. The ASK4’s move to zero carbon is in line with our sustainability strategy going forward. By switching this benefits the climate and meets our clients demand for a day-to-day commitment to sustainability.
