Redsella have successfully developed models to predict shipping fuel consumption. These models are being used in nudge based systems used by the captains and chief engineers to safely reduce fuel consumption and consequent carbon emissions. Typical savings per day per cargo ship are 4 tonnes of oil and 15 tonnes of carbon dioxide.Covid-19 recovery
Redsella provided resource, free of charge, to the Cameroon Public Health Services to model the infection progression of Covid 19 within country from returning international passengers. This was delivered during the early days of the infection and helped the local team better allocate very limited resources.Wellbeing
Redsella have provided modelling resource, free of charge, to Parkinson's UK, to help them understand the locations where their services are not reaching people with the condition. The project involved the use of many UK government open source datasets from NHS Digital and the UK Census.
