We guide our clients through the planning and implementation of cloud services via our proven Digital Transformation Service, which aligns to the Government Digital Services framework. In so doing, we help buyers across activities such as determining the types of cloud services (Infrastructure-, Platform-, and Software-as-a-Service) that are most appropriate based on intended usage patterns. This information helps us to design the right cloud services and to help select the best provider(s) under the circumstances. We also help with assessing the suitability of existing cloud migration products and approaches and in determining whether private, public, multi-, or hybrid cloud solutions best meet the need. We are AWS and Microsoft cloud partners but are not limited to their cloud platforms.

How the setup or migration service works
We enable our clients – including clients with sensitive requirements – to successfully exploit public cloud services from the major cloud providers including Microsoft, AWS, Google, Oracle, and IBM. We offer the full lifecycle of cloud setup and migration services tailored to each client’s situation and desired outcomes, using a five-step end-to-end process. The process spans business case development, application assessment, migration strategy development and validation, migration execution, and operating/optimising to ensure smooth migration. In line with our process, our specialists work with clients to develop hosting strategies, define operating models, and implement the migrations that best meet evolving business outcomes. Our migration service assesses existing applications to identify and implement the best cloud migration approach on a case-by-case basis; this could be anything from a straightforward lift and shift approach to the full re-architecting of a solution. In so doing, we bring a strong cyber security focus, ensuring that all solutions fully address NCSC’s cloud security principles.

How the support service works
We provide cloud hosting services to a broad range of customers from a variety of industries, across the Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Platform (OCP), and IBM Cloud platforms. We also provide a service to manage our clients’ own private cloud or hybrid infrastructure. This service includes first- through to third-line support via our Digital Services Hub (DiSH) service desk that provides UK business hours support. Key features of our cloud hosting services include proactive monitoring and alerting, service desk, automated alerting and dashboards, network operations, security operations, software licence management, Integration with Service Management tools, capacity management, and regular service reviews. We also provide Digital Transformation services and can manage hosting environments for our clients, either on-premises or in the public Cloud. We do so via resource augmentation, as part of a project team, or as a managed service.
