How the planning service works
We help buyers migrate workloads to Google Cloud (GCP), leveraging the GCP Migration Center, following a prescribed methodology:
1. Discovery: create a comprehensive inventory of the Buyer’s existing environment
2. Assess: analyse the inventory, identify optimisation options, risk analysis and business case development
3. Plan: define migration objectives, goals, and success criteria
4. Migrate: in collaboration with the Buyer’s teams, groups of identified applications are migrated to the cloud in “waves” (also known as lift-and-shift).

How the setup or migration service works
Cloud migration on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is the secure and efficient movement of your IT infrastructure, applications, and data from the Buyer's current environment (on-premises or another cloud) to GCP. Leveraging GCP Migration Center, our team of experts will partner with the Buyer to assess the needs, craft a customised migration plan, and execute the migration with minimal disruption. Using Infrastructure as Code, we automate the setup of the GCP environment for the Buyer (Landing Zone), embedded with best practice recommended Google Cloud Security Foundations guidelines.

How the support service works
Our Google Cloud support engagement is based on an agreed scope with the Buyer for 9x5 support mode, addressing the Buyer's specific operational needs. The cost structure is based on the services deployed, ensuring transparent and cost-effective support arrangements. Our support service includes both preventative and corrective components to proactively manage and resolve issues within your Google Cloud infrastructure. The preventative component comprises periodic maintenance, monthly reporting, and continuous infrastructure improvement to optimise performance, reliability, and security. In the event of issues or problems, our support procedure follows a structured approach: (1) we verify the issue and escalate it to Google support team for further analysis and resolution. (2) we communicate the proposed solution to you, working collaboratively to restore any service disruptions or data loss with the assistance of engineers assigned to your project. (3) we provide a detailed closeout report outlining the actions taken to address the issue. Our goal is to ensure smooth operations, minimise downtime, and maximise the value of your Google Cloud investment through proactive support and rapid issue resolution.

Fighting climate change

The Gcloud service offered will use Google data centres that use 50% less energy then the average enterprise data centre and are continuously improving in efficiency by using more machine learning innovations. Most communication with clients will be via video conferencing technologies such as Google meet to reduce the need for travel to client's offices. This will reduce energy associated with transportation. We will ensure that any suppliers that we choose to partner with are either working towards or have already achieved "net zero" operations.

Covid-19 recovery

Covid19 Recovery
We will support and retrain return to workforce who were affected by Covid -19. We aim to work with clients who have been most affected by Covid 19 and help to support them in new ways of working with cloud technology.

Tackling economic inequality

This will provide more employment and training opportunities for people who face barriers to employment. We will also ensure that there is equal pay regardless of gender, race or ethnicity. We aim to support and work with a diverse range of supplies such as new businesses and entrepreneurs, startups, SME's, mutuals and VCSE's. Any Cyber security risks will be identified and managed within the supply chain and the delivery of the contract.

Equal opportunity

In providing this service we intend to follow a fair recruitment process regardless of gender, race or geographical location. We will also aim to increase the representation of disabled people to join our team by offering training if required, in support of developing new skills.

Wellbeing

The wellbeing of our staff is of the highest importance. We will ensure this using the following methods:
- Offering flexible work arrangments for all of our staff to minimise stress and improve worklife balance
