Configuration and change management approach
Product versions releases are drawn up to include user requests for feature enhancements and fixes and specifies the components that will need to be modified or created. This list is reviewed by the development team to assess for any potential impact on security or user experience.

All source code components are versioned and stored in Team Foundation Server.
Vulnerability management type
Undisclosed
Vulnerability management approach
Analysis is performed on any potential threats to assess their likely impact to the system. Potential threats that are deemed to expose a vulnerability in the system are classified and investigated. Patches to resolve critical threats are developed and deployed within 48 hours. Where the patch cannot be deployed within this time frame, all necessary and appropriate measures are taken (up to including the locking out of the system). Information regarding potential threats is collected from Microsoft's Security Notification Service and CISA.
Protective monitoring type
Undisclosed
Protective monitoring approach
Compromise testing is included in each software release. In the event of a new technology being introduced into the systems, a risk assessment is performed.

In the event of a compromise being found within a development cycle, the deployment of that release is put on hold until the compromise is resolved.

If a compromise is detected within a production system, then a patch is developed to resolve it. It is the intention that this occurs within 48 hours. Where this is not possible, all necessary and appropriate measures are taken (up to including the locking out of the system).
Incident management type
Undisclosed
Incident management approach
Incidents are recorded internally and classified on the support case management system.

Users report incidents through the support desk, either by email or telephone. All incidents are added to the internal support case management system.

Incident reports are generated from the internal support case management system.
