- Vulnerability management approach
- Analysis is performed on any potential threats to assess their likely impact to the system. Potential threats that are deemed to expose a vulnerability in the system are classified and investigated. Patches to resolve critical threats are developed and deployed within 48 hours. Where the patch cannot be deployed within this time frame, all necessary and appropriate measures are taken (up to including the locking out of the system). Information regarding potential threats is collected from Microsoft's Security Notification Service and CISA.
- Protective monitoring type

- Protective monitoring approach
-
Compromise testing is included in each software release. In the event of a new technology being introduced into the systems, a risk assessment is performed.
In the event of a compromise being found within a development cycle, the deployment of that release is put on hold until the compromise is resolved.
If a compromise is detected within a production system, then a patch is developed to resolve it. It is the intention that this occurs within 48 hours. Where this is not possible, all necessary and appropriate measures are taken (up to including the locking out of the system). - Incident management type
