What the ISO/IEC 27001 doesn’t cover
Our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification covers the information security management system for our people, processes, and technology within the defined organisational scope.

Certain Annex A controls are not applicable due to the nature of our business model. These relate to secure physical working areas, supporting utilities, and cabling security, as we do not operate secure physical environments or rely on on-premise infrastructure. Our services are delivered using cloud-based systems and remote working arrangements.

Controls relating to software development and engineering are also excluded. This includes access to source code, secure development policy, secure system engineering principles, secure coding, development and acceptance testing, outsourced development, separation of development, testing and operational environments, and the handling of test information. We do not design, build, or test software as part of our services.

All exclusions are risk-assessed, documented within our Statement of Applicability, and reviewed periodically. If our business activities or delivery model change, the applicability of these controls would be reassessed accordingly.
