Shift Left is designed to be a zero carbon business. We have achieved this by using zero carbon or carbon neutral suppliers and being a remote first business. Our suppliers all have great carbon credentials and we regularly check that there is not a similar supplier with better credentials. We also encourage all our directors, employees, associates and partners to use green suppliers. We do this by encouraging all our contacts to use a carbon footprint calculator (https://www.shiftleft.today/zero-carbon.html) to help them identify areas for improvement.
Remote first means that we talk carefully to our clients about the impact of any travel on the environment and the need to minimise (ideally eliminate) the use of cars, trains and planes to control our carbon footprint. This includes electric vehicles as it not yet possible to ensure that the energy used is always derived from renewables.
We recognise that our operations result in emissions to air and water, and the generation of waste. It is our aim to comply with legislation and other requirements, continue to reduce the environmental impacts of our business and operate in an environmentally responsible manner.
