#WatchYourWellbeing
Alongside academic support, ClickView runs an annual wellbeing campaign initially launched during lockdown to help students take care of their mental health. #WatchYourWellbeing has been launched to champion the importance of taking care of student’s mental health.
The #WatchYourWellbeing campaign is in response to a) we noticed that the most watched video on our site is ‘mental health, the basics’ and b) the warning issued by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, who said ‘school closures, cancelled exams, empty lecture halls and lockdown threatened a mental health crisis that could plague the current generation of children for years to come’(source), alongside reports from Childline of a rise in demand for mental health counselling (source).
Clinical Psychologist and Founder of Innovating Minds, Dr Asha Patel, has worked in conjunction with ClickView on a range of wellbeing titles. Supporting the #WatchYourWellbeing campaign, Dr Asha Patel said –
“The reoccurring lockdowns have had a significant impact on some children’s mental health and wellbeing. There has been an increase in anxiety related difficulties and disordered eating. Therefore, it is so important that quality, evidence-based resources are available for children, caregivers, and educators.”
ClickView has a multitude of series and engaging resources to support student wellbeing including titles such as Understanding Anxiety, Calm Breathing and Resilience.
