Appetite typically divide our projects into three distinct phases Scoping & Planning, Build and Transition. The planning effort includes a number activities that follow on directly from the scoping and can be thought of as the ‘how’.
We help clients make the most of the Microsoft Power Platform, working to ensure they make the most of each product they are currently licencing. We will look at each role within the organisation and plan how best the platform can benefit every user. With years of experience of Microsoft Cloud, we can help any business to automate manual processes and content management. We work with buying teams to help them understand the possibilities, and to map out user journeys for each role. Whilst each organisation and business processes may require a slightly tailored approach to discovery and delivery, the process broadly follows the following steps: Discover – the business drivers behind the process improvement initiative, systems and processes currently in use, target platforms and ‘to be’ business processes, actors and roles, data models and data sets, automated and human interaction points, integration requirements, desired business outcomes and appropriate efficiency measures and metrics for success reporting. Plan – the solution architecture, target operating model delivery, target systems, ‘to be’ processes, user experience, user interfaces, process improvement and management reporting. Automate – including introduction of multi-device multi-platform electronic forms, business rules and validation in forms, workflow touch points, integration layers, human interaction content and user experience, process improvement dashboards and management information views on efficiency gains.

- How the quality assurance and performance testing works
-
Appetite has extensive planning, migration and end user engagement practices which are designed to ensure a proportionate response to quality assurance and performance. Our goal is to deliver “right first time”. Testing against all client requirements helps us to reduce UAT effort and rework.
Through the scoping and planning phases, we ascertain the level and depth of quality assurance necessary and tailor our Quality Assurance efforts accordingly. During the project build phase, we focus solely on functional system testing of the solutions developed.
Where required, we can also support client User acceptance testing needs by providing consultants to perform user acceptance testing management and test analysis in order to guide client teams in the most effective ways to UAT the solution.
Each aspect of delivery can be documented and signed off in partnership with the client. We encourage a collaborative approach to project delivery and would require dedicated resources from the client for these stages : - Requirements gathering - Workshops - Requirement and phase sign off - UAT and quality testing Wherever appropriate we take an Agile approach to project delivery to ensure regular feedback loops on delivered functionality against customer requirement.
