RedRock supplies a range of services to assist public sector organisations to plan for the transition of services to a cloud platform or between cloud platforms.
RedRock supplies tailor-made teams to meet your exacting requirements. Each organisation has a unique set of business processes, applications, data and infrastructure that needs to be clearly understood (as-is). Our SMEs will work closely with you to help define your desired Target Operating Model (to-be) and we offer a wide range of Management/Technical services to assist with service/business/digital transition planning from as-is to to-be.
Management and analysis services include strategy and roadmap preparation, business case preparation (including options appraisal), Enterprise Architecture, project initiation, management of budgets, and supplier and vendor selection.
In terms of deployment options, RedRock is technology agnostic and provides independent advice on the options available for cloud deployment solutions, covering such aspects as SaaS/PaaS/IaaS and whether to use private/public/hybrid cloud solutions. RedRock’s services include Cloud Solution Design along with planning for Service Transition (SIAM) solutions.
When considering data and information security as part of the transition, RedRock can supply SME teams in areas including Strategy (data and information security), MDM, Information/Data Architecture, Business Continuity, SPF and ISO27001 compliance, and threat modelling. - Planning service works with specific services

This RedRock service is one of a suite of services supporting all aspects of setting up new cloud services and migrating applications to the new cloud services from on-premise infrastructure and/or existing cloud services.
We offer organisations a tailored service, provided by SMEs, to ensure the planned cloud services are successfully provisioned and tested, fully hardened and integrated in accordance with the chosen deployment model, and applications are methodically and successfully migrated, ensuring they meet performance, availability, security, privacy and regulatory requirements.
Our cloud, data, security, and DevOps SMEs can support all aspects of cloud services setup including provisioning IaaS and PaaS cloud services on a broad range of public cloud vendor platforms, including Amazon AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, setting up private cloud and hybrid services, integrating with on-premise and other cloud services, creating automated (container-based) processes for software release and infrastructure changes and establishing effective management controls.
For migrating applications, we have skilled technical, data, security, QA and DevOps SMEs who can, for example, re-architect applications for the cloud, design integration and security solutions, install, configure and test services, applications, middleware and databases, and manage the migration and cutover to applications on the new cloud services. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

Governance
We employ a multi-level governance model:
• Sub-teams are responsible for producing output that conforms to the agreed business specification and project plan.
• These teams are managed by on-site Redrock Project Management.
• Overall output is reviewed and monitored by our SLT, who will work alongside the team on occasion.
Weekly Management review
Our formalised governance will involve a weekly management review of individual projects as well as the programme as a whole.
Monitoring Quality
Redrock works to industry standards such as ITIL, Prince, Zachman, and TOGAF where these standards align to client internal process, or offer operation advantage.
Our quality assurance framework addresses process, define & design, technical, delivery and operational disciplines, and are installed at project initiation, running throughout the programme lifecycle.
Service Remediation
In the event of remediation being a requirement, projects are escalated to a “resolve group”. A resolve group is chaired and sponsored by a member of the Redrock leadership team who, where required, are able to call on a wide network of Redrock resources, as well as the local team responsible.
