Email, Phone & ticket system is managed at all times. Tickets raised via the ticket system receive an immediate acknowledgement confirmation.

End-of-contract data extraction
Data is extracted by the GeoWorks export module and can be provided in a range of different formats.
End-of-contract process
Following a formal request to terminate the Geoworks licencing agreement, Forest Rock will cease to provide the service on the agreed termination date in accordance with the licence terms.

Forest Rock will provide data exports by email or FTP file transfer in an agreed-upon common format for up to three months after termination.

Off-boarding costs are not covered by the Geoworks pricing but can be provided separately by our Professional Services team, depending on any specific requirements.

Description of customisation
Modification of data structures and ability to create bespoke reports. Data modification would be done by Geoworks engineers working alongside the customer. Reports can be written by customers with SQL experience or again, by Geoworks engineers.

Availability and resilience

Guaranteed availability
Forest Rock commits to using commercially reasonable efforts to make the GeoWorks service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (excluding planned downtime and emergency downtime periods). Forest Rock provides a minimum 7 day notice period for all planned downtime. Forest Rock aims to achieve uptime availability of 99% in line with Azure Hosting. Contractural obligations and service level performance\penalties are negotiated on a contract to contract basis.
Approach to resilience
The application is load balanced to allow for variable traffic and also provides global DDoS protection. Backend components are able to scale both vertically and horizontally. Despite the proactive measures taken, backups are taken daily and disaster recovery exercises are carried out at least every 6 months.

Any changes to the application follow a strict change process. A change request is raised, detailing the required changes and impact to the continuity, security and functionality. Potential threats to the application are identified during weekly network scans of the application infrastructure and instantly addressed.
