An Exit Plan would be agreed in which the Supplier will agree with the Buyer the methodology for transfer of data at the end of the contract term.
This would cover terms for user data to be extracted and supplied in an agreed format upon request. User data may include Employer data, such as company details, job listings and team members, or Jobseeker data.
Jobseekers are also able to access their data via the "Your account" section. From there they can download their CVs and view/print their activity, including job views, searches and applications.
Terms would also be agreed for data sets to be extracted and supplied in bulk for the purpose of migration to a new system, if required. - End-of-contract process
-
"We would agree an Exit Plan with the Buyer, laying out the strategy to be followed at the end of the contract. This would define the processes that will help us migrate the services to the Buyer or to a replacement supplier and ensure continuity of the service during the Transition.
The Exit Plan would cover items such as data transfer, asset transfer, knowledge transfer, decommissioning and purging, timing and milestones and payments."

- Accessibility standards
- WCAG 2.1 AA or EN 301 549
- Accessibility testing
-
The service undergoes an annual Accessibility audit by an independent Accessibility partner. This is focused on achieving Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1/2.2) and meet recognised GDS Accessibility standards. This ensures the service keeps up with Accessibility best practices, is easy to use, intuitive, accessible to a broad spectrum of users and can be navigated using the most commonly used assistive technologies - including screen magnifiers, screen readers and speech recognition tools.
Testing includes:
- preparation and execution of WCAG-based test scripts to check that the product has been built inline with the recommended standards and guidelines

- What users can and can't do using the API
-
The service features a APIs for Vacancy Content, Labour Market Data and Management Information.
API registration can be customised to requirements e.g. through online registration or via a request to the service management team.
The Vacancy Content/Labour Market Data API provides highly segmentable job vacancy data, along with labour market statistics and can support hundreds of thousands of parameterised queries per day. This API is used for a variety of purposes, such as:
- querying a subset of vacancy content to display on 3rd party platforms.
- querying data for analytical or research purposes
APIs can be configured so that, for example, they are either fully open or require manual approval. We can also configure individual accounts to be rate-limited or data limited.
The Management Information API provides weekly and total statistical data, segmentable to a granular level. This includes reports for Job seekers, Employers and Companies registered with the service along with data for ad listings, applications, cv uploads and email alerts. Data can pulled via the API returning data in json format, or queried and exported through a bespoke data dashboard.
We can also offer custom APIs for specific solutions on request. - API documentation

- Configuration and change management approach
-
Our system configuration and change management processes are defined in our Secure Development Framework and Change Management Policy. These, along with industry best practice resources from the NCSC, OWASP and CISP, outline the principles which we adhere to when making changes to service components.
Changes are tracked using issue-tracking software (JIRA) and GIT repositories (Bitbucket). This enables scheduling of work as well as a permanent record of system/codebase changes.
Information security risks are raised at monthly SWG meetings and vulnerabilities are detected by annual IT Health Checks, penetration tests and regular vulnerability scans. - Vulnerability management type

"As per our Vulnerability Assessment Policy, information security risks are raised at monthly SWG meetings and vulnerabilities are detected by annual IT Health Checks, Penetration tests and regular internal and external vulnerability scans. We are also a member of the Cyber Security Information Sharing Partnership (CISP) which makes available resources on industry best practice and in-depth analysis of cyber threat information.
Our approach to security patch management for all systems and application components is defined in our Patch Management Policy and Patch Management Procedure." - Protective monitoring type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Protective monitoring approach
- Our approach to protective monitoring is detailed in our Log Monitoring and Auditing Policy. Potential compromises are identified by monitoring server load through a permanent live dashboard and by analysing web logs through tools such as AWS Cloudtrail, Cloudwatch and Syslog. Our response approach and speed is decided on a case-by-case basis according to the severity of the compromise. An audit log of business audit events and activities of all user categories is retained for a period of 12 months. An audit log of technical events (e.g. syslog events, CloudWatch & CloudTrail) is also retained.
- Incident management type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Incident management approach
- Our approach to incidents is defined in our Incident Response Policy and Incident Response Procedure. These set out a framework for detecting, responding to, recovering from and reporting of incidents. They detail how incident response phases are structured, provide guidelines on how to assess the critical and severity level of an incident and set the communication and escalation channels to be used. Incidents are graded by priority level (with specific SLAs set for each) and reports are created for P1 and P2 level incidents detailing summary, impact, root cause analysis, resolution, key timelines and any on-going action items.

Fighting climate change
Our Founder and CEO is passionate about sustainability and in 2022, formed our Green Committee to help reduce the carbon footprint of the company and its employees towards net zero. We actively measure our annual carbon output, assess what can be done to reduce our footprint and initiate any changes.Covid-19 recovery
Adzuna's products help millions of job seekers every month to find better, more fulfilling work and continue to do so during this important phase of recovery.
During the pandemic, Adzuna assisted the DWP and former Secretary of State, Therese Coffey, in launching the Kickstart scheme across the country via series of virtual roundtables. We also worked directly with the Kickstart scheme to set up a feed of Kickstart vacancies so they could be listed on the Find a job service. This scheme has been a huge success, with over 157K starts, and has helped young people across the UK secure valuable work experience during otherwise very challenging times.
We are currently working with DWP and Central Government with a nationwide initiative to help businesses in the UK that are struggling to find workforce. This involves integrating operations between the Find a job service and Jobcentre Plus Employer Services to allow employer vacancies to be surfaced to Employer Advisers in jobcentres across the country who can then match roles directly to jobseekers in their local area.Tackling economic inequality
We’ve spent a decade developing smarter, more transparent job search and matching technology so jobseekers in the UK (and worldwide - we’re in 20 countries) can find better, more fulfilling jobs. Tackling economic inequality is therefore at the heart of what we do.
We worked with DWP to pilot our AI-powered CareerPaths tool with Universal Credit claimants in job centres across the UK as part of the Government’s Way To Work strategy. The tool helps jobseekers understand viable future career paths based on the career trajectories of millions of others, matching jobseekers to new industries and live jobs based on their experience and skills. This technology helps move claimants closer to the labour market and provide more options to improve their economic position.

We've recently launched a free job interview prep tool, Prepper, aimed at jobseekers who don't have the resources to pay for a career coach to help them land a job or build confidence ahead of the job interview process. The tool combines generative AI with Adzuna’s proprietary data and expertise to simulate interview questions for any job, at any company, at scale. It allows jobseekers to prepare for job interviews by generating questions likely to be asked based on information from a job ad, as well as coaching them on how best to respond, changing the game for interviewees. It follows research revealing 93% of jobseekers experience pre-interview anxiety, with the top job interview worry being not being able to answer a difficult question (cited by 41% of respondents).

We believe in looking after the world we live in and giving everyone a fair shot. We treat jobseekers as people not as products. We do the same for our team, seeing the diverse range of strengths they bring to our business. Regardless of background, race, gender, sexuality or ability, we welcome everyone to Adzuna and are working hard to improve the diversity of talent we're recruiting, nurturing and retaining. We’re a Disability Confident Committed employer and are proud to have a thriving community of employees from across the world. Our people are the most important asset we have.
We have an active Diversity & Inclusion team, who's primary focus is to attract more diverse candidates and make sure all feel included once they join. Supported by the CEO, their remit includes: reviewing all recruitment materials to eliminate biased language; annual unconscious bias training; fulfilling Disability Confident scheme commitments; posting Adzuna vacancies to a diverse range of platforms; a bi-annual D&I employee survey; annual charity fundraising initiatives.
All our Government services are Accessible to WGAC Level AA and undergo annual Accessibility audits by an independent auditor. A survey of 987 jobseekers conducted in August 2021, found 17% more disabled jobseekers use the Find a job platform compared to private sector websites.
We have built and maintain the DWP's Disability Confident application, used to administer the scheme with over 20,000 registered employers. We have also implemented functionality for registered Employers to display the Disability Confident logo on vacancies they have listed on the Find a job service, highlighting to jobseekers their positive approach to inclusivity and enabling them to make the most of the talents disabled people bring. Jobseekers can also filter search results by Employers registered with the scheme, making it easier to quickly find opportunities with inclusive employers.Wellbeing
We take the wellbeing of our employees seriously and have taken every step possible to protect the health and wellbeing of our people during COVID-19. Amongst other things, we offer healthcare through Babylon Health, access to free counselling and a programme of wellbeing activities and events. We have a flexible working policy, run regular wellbeing workshops, offer enhanced maternity and paternity leave because we welcome people with families.
We have also partnered with a 3rd party provider of life coaching services that is available for all Adzuna employees to seek one-to-one help in topics ranging from managing "burnout", bereavement, to processing the extreme changes in working environments and economic impacts of the economy and post-pandemic recovery.
