How the planning service works
The service enables cloud programmes teams and their stakeholders to understand, during planning, the nature and time / financial costs that will be incurred on technical testing before it is safe to take the system live. It also supports the planning process with working out how to discharge these needs in the most effective way. Knowing these things avoid surprises emerging during the execution of the programme. Having to retrospectively add major test activities into a tightly scheduled programme of work incurs direct costs, causes delays and incurs significant indirect costs as a result of delays and disruption. This service greatly reduces the risk of such issues.
