Our experts understand what is needed to move an existing service or design a brand-new service to the cloud. We can help you understand the difference between cloud ready and cloud native.
We will work with you on the business analysis to understand what you want to run in the cloud and why, making sure that going to the cloud is the right option.
We work with you on the design process and things like security risk assessments.
We will work with you pick a cloud vendor and understand the difference between the different vendors and ensure you get the best value.

We create or oversee testing strategies and plans for new cloud services ensuring they meet the performance, capacity, security, and other business requirements for the new service. This could for example test the service desk response time to an incident.
We will work on behalf of the client to oversee and assure testing by vendors. Our ITIL certified staff understand what is needed to design, manage, and operate a good service and we will bring that knowledge into the assurance process.

As our organisation is primarily concerned with the early part of the cloud journey i.e. business analysis, quality assurance etc and not the day-to-day running of the service we do not provide operational support.
Our staff are available to discuss aby or all ongoing issues with the new cloud service and vendor to help the client with any issues they may be having.
Unless a specific SLA is required this extra support cost will be as per our standard rates. If an SLA and ongoing support contract is required then this will be discussed at the time of engagement.

Fighting climate change
The Zest Consult team are committed to protecting the environment, preventing pollution, and continually improving our Environmental Management System to minimize our carbon footprint. We conduct activities in an environmentally responsible way, encouraging our clients, associates, and subcontractors to do the same.
We have identified the most significant environmental impacts of our activities to be carbon emissions, associated with travel, waste, supply chain, and our ability to influence our clients’ environmental performance. We operate on a carbon-neutral basis and minimize our carbon footprint, identifying ways to offset any remaining emissions, detailed below.
As an office-based organisation we do not own a fleet of vehicles and make conscious decisions to reduce our carbon footprint. We encourage the use of public transport and working from home, with remote attendance for almost all meetings.
We follow our Sustainable Procurement Code when making purchases to minimize our environmental impact by ensuring that products and services are sourced and produced under a set of internationally acceptable environmental, social, and ethical guidelines and standards. We maximize the use of materials with reused and recycled content that can be subsequently reused or recycled. We seek to maximize resource use and energy efficiency to minimize environmental impact: whilst ensuring appropriate substances and materials minimize impact on human health and the environment.
We work with clients to inform their own environmental improvements and carbon reduction. The government’s initial drive for BIM through its Construction Strategy focused on the reduction of carbon by 20% and we see our expertise in the digital consultancy space as a significant client enabler to meeting these targets.
We reduce paper waste using electronic repositories for data capture and storage.
We seek and develop fully green solutions when collaborating on the development of technology that uses alternative energy sources.Covid-19 recovery
The Zest Consult, Ltd. team addresses the challenge to resume business and bring employees back to a safe workplace and still enable the flexible expansion and contraction via the following activities that support successful COVID-19 recovery efforts:

When meetings are necessary, conduct virtual meetings (i.e., Microsoft Teams).
Employees avoid close contact by keeping a separation of at least 6 feet between workstations, where necessary, use of face masks, and assure that there is proper ventilation in the office.
Advising employees when they are feeling ill or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, they are to contact their supervisor and isolate themselves at home. They are then advised to stay at home and self-monitor for 10 days and return after confirmation they are testing negative two days in a row and symptom free.Tackling economic inequality
