We carefully track our carbon footprint and have a Carbon Reduction plan and have published it on our website. Additionally, Synyega invests in UK based Carbon offsetting projects and ensure that we offset more Carbon than we create. With our carbon positivity assisting in the fight against climate change. This also includes guidance for our teams on how to be more sustainable at home led by our internal culture and sustainability team.

Equal opportunity

At Synyega, we have made a commitment to ensure that as Synyega continues to grow that we operate as sustainably as possible. Not just for our benefit but also to try and ensure we are making positive contributions to the community and the environment. We want to embed this thinking into everything we do.
With this in mind, Synyega is acutely aware of the issues involved in workforce inequality. Whilst being a small company with specific Cloud services focus, we seek to ensure we create opportunities that enhance equality.
Our recruitment practices seek to be structured, fair and inclusive using a range of sources with a total open mindedness towards where a candidate may be based and their social background. Currently we use a range of recruitment agencies, LinkedIn and personal contacts as sources for recruiting. Evidence based and skills based assessments are used during recruitment and promotion.
Retention and progression of staff is vital to the success of not only the company but our individual employees too. In support of these, Synyega encourages and funds individual learning and development activities. Examples include IT skills courses for individuals, group learning courses and skills/business reading.
Our working conditions are respective of individuals’ needs, e.g. we provide IT equipment for remote working, standard company backdrops for video calls, shared on line calendars for transparency and planning. Flexible working in terms of time and location is also practised.

As small business, resource management is vital to our success: appropriate forward planing with input from employees is key to this.
Synyega subscribes to the Fair Employment Charter and the Living Wage Foundation and we support local charities in the North West UK.
Further to this, Synyega recognises that due to the critical nature of our services, such pressures could have a detrimental effect on the Health and Wellbeing of the people involved. As such, monitoring health and wellbeing is a central component of our services.
For large engagements, we have a formally embedded process to anticipate pressures, nullify them and orientate the process to a constructive and collaborative partnership from which all parties benefit and prosper.
