Support levels
Technical developers are involved in the support process, depending on the type of support query. Support is available via our email ticketing system. Most queries can be dealt with within a couple of working hours. With more involved queries we will provide an estimate or update within this timeframe. We respect the administration levels within our systems and will forward queries on to our main contacts at the customer if the permissions provided to the staff member by administrators is insufficient for what they are looking for us to do. In most cases the person who first responds to the ticket will see it through to resolution, but we can track ongoing queries and reassign in the case of annual leave for example. We also have online help within system, with videos and documentation. Calls/online meetings are available for admins by request, and we will also suggest this in cases where it will help. New customers will normally have a single point of contact for setup before we suggest use of the support process for normal ongoing help queries.

•Admin Restrictions: Admins can be unrestricted/limited to one or more of reporting, searching, adding delegates and scheduling classroom events

•Content Authorities: If particular content is sensitive and should not be reportable by everyone, or you need different departments to handle different classroom courses, you can use our Content Authority system to do this

•Per-course visibility: Control per course whether staff can access it directly, must be specifically assigned the content (individually/per role), or can only access as part of a wider programme

•Per-event options: Control per classroom course whether staff can book on directly, require manager approval, or booked on by administrators •Announcements: Make custom announcements for staff through the homepage •Course branding: Brand your content with custom logo, banner and colours (even if imported from shared content from us or another organisation)

• LMS has customisable widgets, layouts, branding, all managed by top level administrators.

Scaling

Independence of resources
The provision is based on national approach to avoid performance bottlenecks. Our cloud is a virtualisation environment to allow upgrade of key components to manage demand. Modular architecture allows independent upgrades of non-critical components without core system downtime; however planned downtime may be required dependent on severity of change.

Configuration and change management standard
Supplier-defined controls
Configuration and change management approach
Changes logged in Microsoft Azure DevOps; customers provided with change management forms; tickets tracked in tracking system. Security impact assessed as part of development cycle and testing, with penetration testing forming the final layer if a potential issue does get through to live system.
Vulnerability management type

Vulnerability management approach
Regular security patching of operating system and relevant server software – at a minimum monthly unless a specific threat with process expedited where a specific threat is identified. For our own software, security reviews and coding against threats as required. We are capable of making immediate hotfixes to our own software should the case for this arise.
Protective monitoring type

Protective monitoring approach
Identification via security alerts. Technical team look at the issue and update the site in within a set timeframe dependent on severity. Certain severe threats would be dealt with out of hours, other issues would be either be worked on and patched immediately or handled as part of normal update process depending on analysis of the scale and likelihood of potential risk.
