How the planning service works
We create solutions using agile implementation methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. The process involves:

4. Facilitating the process with dedicated scrum masters, agile coaches, and project managers.

When planning cloud projects, we prioritise:

1. Business value and cost drivers
2. Maturity levels of deploying and end-user organisations
3. Security and privacy constraints and concerns

Training

Training service provided
Yes
How the training service works
At Covelent, we adopt an experiential learning approach to training that incorporates the SODOTO (See One, Do One, Teach One) methodology to effectively transfer skills and capabilities to our clients. This ensures our clients not only acquire new skills for their own use but also gain the ability to share and develop these skills among colleagues.

In terms of technical operation and management, when we develop Cloud services for our clients, we provide training to their staff on how to use and manage these services. We also offer this training for the deployment of third-party software.

We create opportunities for both formal and informal training to ensure that client teams and individuals are well-equipped to drive and deliver progress independently. This includes:

1. Conducting formal and informal feedback and coaching sessions for senior stakeholders and managers, such as SROs and Directors, to accelerate delivery and enhance leadership behaviours.

2. Providing on-the-job peer-to-peer coaching and support to team members, focusing on both soft skills and technical skills development.

3. Delivering formal classroom training related to the new cloud service or supporting services being implemented, as well as training in strategy consulting skills, such as storylining, slide writing, problem-solving, presence, and influence.

Setup and migration

Setup or migration service available
Yes
How the setup or migration service works
The migration approach will depend on the solution being implemented and your specific requirements, such as private, public, or hybrid cloud. We will select the ideal migration environment for your use case and execute workload migration using cloud support tools and services.

1. Analysing your current setup and identifying key components.
2. Developing a compelling business case for cloud migration or switching between providers.
3. Determining the target state, selecting services and applications to migrate, and choosing the ideal platform (public, private, or hybrid cloud).
4. Preparing for migration by outlining necessary changes to your operating model, including high-level organisational implications.
5. Conducting market analysis to inform procurement and contracting strategies.
6. Handling sourcing and contract negotiations.
7. Defining the target technology and data architecture.
8. Creating a clear implementation roadmap with milestones, owners, and required support to achieve your desired state.

Quality assurance and performance testing

Quality assurance and performance testing service
Yes
How the quality assurance and performance testing works
All our services integrate quality assurance through our global network of experts and partners, enhancing each project. Our "De-Risking Cloud Projects" service specifically ensures AI project quality by addressing common causes of failure, mitigating risks, and applying even to ongoing or early-stage projects. Our engagement models vary based on the level of de-risking and quality assurance needed:

Engaged PMO - For large and complex projects, we adopt an ‘engaged PMO’ role, assuming execution and management duties to guarantee that the project meets its objectives.
QA Surgery - For medium-sized projects, we perform a one-time quality assurance exercise, including deep dives into specific areas of concern.
QA Triage - For medium-sized projects with particular expertise requirements, we can integrate a Covelent expert into the core project team.
Pulse Check - For smaller projects, we conduct one-time health checks to assure sponsors that the project is poised for success.
