Onboarding and offboarding
- Getting started
-
All Cvent Attendee Hub customers will be guided through our onboarding journey. Although you'll be owning most of the configuration, your Account team will support you along the way. This includes your Account Manager and success resource as your main points of contact, as well as a Solutions Specialist to guide you through the onboarding journey.
The onboarding journey starts with a kickoff call to define your goals, understand your virtual session strategy, collect detailed information about your event, and talk through your requirements. Next is the configuration of the features you'll be using for your event. Over a series of calls, we'll work together to complete your event configuration at least 1 week before your event begins. Then as your event gets closer, we'll do a dry run prep call, where we will:
• Train your team on how to host dry runs with your hosts and speakers
• Review the event organizer experience
• Dry run a live stream session, including reviewing speaker, host, and attendee experiences
• Dry run a collaborative session

Cvent is the world leader in online event management and can be used for events both small and large. Cvent is a SaaS based solution that simultaneously supports tens of thousands of concurrent users and thousands of different types of meetings. Our system is robust and resilient to host events as small as 10 people to more than 10,000 people. We currently use a layer 7 load balancer, to balance traffic across our endpoints to ensure that in case of large number of delegates registering at the same time, our systems remain available.
As a core part of the Cvent Platform, we offer powerful online registration software that will streamline your meetings and events.
Attendees will register for your event or meeting through a user-friendly interface. The registration form is extremely easy and intuitive to use. Organizers can configure it the way they want to collect the contact information, pre-event survey questions, session registration, guest or group registration, travel requests, and payment collection of their registrants.
It also supports dynamic registration which allows attendees to have unique registration experiences based on their attendee type. For example, the registration experience for a sponsor can be different than that for an exhibitor - Outage reporting

Cvent will notify customers well in advance on multiple occasions if we are planning any downtime for maintenance reasons.
Unfortunately, unplanned downtime can also occur. In this event, we have a centralized portal that customers can access to get updates.
