WCAG 2.2 A
Description of service interface
Dalux has been designed with a modern, fast, and intuitive interface, engineered for non-technical users.

By utilising consistent design and logical iconography across web and mobile platforms, the system ensures high adoption among diverse teams, from site operatives to office administrators, without requiring extensive training.

The Dalux platform supports multiple international languages, allowing individual users to select their preferred interface language (e.g., a site operative can view the mobile app in their native language while the project admin views the dashboard in English). This functionality reduces communication barriers and improves safety and data quality on multicultural sites.

Availability and resilience

Guaranteed availability
Our SLA describes an availability of 99% (measured 24/7) over 6 months.
If uptime over a 6-month period is less than 99%, the Client is entitled to a reduction in the agreed licensing fee. For each percentage point the uptime is lower than 99 % the Client receives a 5 % discount on the licensing fee for the 6-month period in question.
Approach to resilience
Dalux is built using a distributed, stateless application architecture that allows individual components to scale horizontally and recover automatically from failures.

The platform is designed to tolerate the failure of individual services or nodes without impacting overall availability. Continuous monitoring and automated health checks are used to detect and remediate issues early.

Datacentre and infrastructure resilience; Dalux is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), using enterprise-grade datacentres with high physical and environmental resilience. Production environments are deployed across multiple, physically separate Availability Zones within an AWS Region. This ensures continued operation even in the event of a datacentre-level failure.

Data protection and recovery: Customer data is stored redundantly and protected against hardware failure through AWS-managed replication mechanisms. Regular backups are performed and retained in accordance with defined backup and retention policies. Recovery procedures are tested and documented to ensure data can be restored within defined recovery objectives.

Operational resilience; Dalux operates formal incident management, change management, and escalation procedures. The platform is maintained with rolling updates and maintenance processes designed to minimise or avoid service disruption. Capacity planning and load management are used to ensure performance and availability during peak usage.

Additional details are available on request under an NDA.
Outage reporting
Dalux has an Incident Response policy, which is our documented policy that applies to all users of information systems within Dalux. This typically includes employees and contractors, as well as any external parties that come into contact with systems and information controlled by Dalux.

If an incident is confirmed as a breach, a set procedure must be followed to contain, investigate, resolve, and communicate information to employees, customers, partners and other stakeholders by email. Further information available upon request.

Access restrictions in management interfaces and support channels
Dalux has an Identity and Access Control Policy that defines procedures to onboard and offboard users to technical infrastructure in a manner that minimises the risk of information loss or exposure.

The level of security assigned to a user to the organisation's information systems will be based on the minimum necessary amount of data access required to carry out legitimate job responsibilities assigned to a user's job role.

All access to systems and data will be regulated by the role-based access control (RBAC) method, based on the Principle of Least Privilege.

Information security policies and processes
Dalux’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) is strategically aligned with the company’s mission to drive sustainable innovation in the construction industry. The ISMS supports business growth, enhances customer trust, and ensures resilience by integrating risk management across the organisation. It is governed in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

Top management, including the CEO and CTO, actively supports the development and implementation of policies and communicates the strategic importance of information security. They ensure an environment that promotes awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Management will also make sure that the ISMS is prioritised in the budgeting process and adequately resourced to guarantee optimal performance.

Dalux operates its ISMS governance using an annual wheel that structures recurring activities such as audits, management reviews, risk assessments, control and policy reviews and communication of objectives. This cyclical model ensures that ISMS processes are timely, consistent, and aligned with strategic priorities.

To maintain the effectiveness of the ISMS, Dalux regularly evaluates its security posture through internal audits, management reviews and continuous monitoring of key metrics. Annual internal audits, performed by independent third parties, ensure conformity with ISO 27001.

Configuration and change management standard
Supplier-defined controls
Configuration and change management approach
Dalux has a change management policy. This policy establishes the company's processes to manage changes across the organisation in a well-communicated, planned and predictable manner that aims to minimise unplanned outages and unforeseen system issues.

Changes to systems, applications, and configurations are proposed, reviewed, approved, and implemented according to established procedures. This includes peer review, security impact assessment, testing in separate environments, and approval by authorized personnel before deployment to production.

Change management at Dalux follows a decentralised approach. Changes are well-documented, tested, and deployed with minimal disruption.

Further information available upon request.
Vulnerability management type
Supplier-defined controls
Vulnerability management approach
Dalux has a Vulnerability Management Policy. This policy outlines the company's procedures to uncover, classify, track, and remediate security vulnerabilities.

This policy applies to all production systems, requiring vulnerability scans and periodic penetration tests to identify and assess potential security risks. Vulnerability findings must be reported, tagged, and tracked to resolution per defined SLOs, with records retained for a minimum of two years.

Findings are categorised as Critical, High, Medium, or Low, and must be documented with associated Service Level Objectives (SLOs) defining the maximum acceptable resolution time.

Further information available upon request.
Protective monitoring type
Supplier-defined controls
Protective monitoring approach
Dalux conducts regular vulnerability identification processes, including:
Vulnerability Scanning, Software Composition Analysis, Penetration Testing and External Reports and Notifications.

Findings are analysed by the Security Committee, which will assign each finding a priority level based on:
· Severity: Measured using a CVSS Base Score or equivalent metrics.
· Impact: The potential effect on systems, services, and users.
· Exposure: The level of risk posed by the vulnerability's presence in production.

Findings are categorised as Critical, High, Medium, or Low, and must be documented with associated Service Level Objectives (SLOs) defining the maximum acceptable resolution time.

Incident management type
Supplier-defined controls
Incident management approach
Dalux has an Incident Response Policy to establish controls to ensure detection of security vulnerabilities and incidents, as well as quick reaction and response to security breaches.

All users must promptly report any suspected or confirmed security vulnerabilities or incidents using the prescribed channels. Dalux employs automated tools to detect vulnerabilities and incidents, which are being addressed based on their severity within defined timeframes, as outlined in the Vulnerability Management Policy . If an incident is confirmed as a breach, a set procedure must be followed to contain, investigate, resolve, and communicate information to employees, customers, partners and other stakeholders.
