Scaling

Independence of resources
Infosys guarantees uninterrupted performance through a cloud-native, multi-tenant architecture with resource isolation and elastic scaling. Autoscaling policies dynamically add compute and storage during peak demand, while intelligent load balancing distributes traffic evenly. Dedicated resource pools for critical features and CDN-based content delivery reduce backend load. Continuous monitoring via SRE practices ensures latency and throughput remain within defined SLOs. This approach prevents any single user or group from impacting others, delivering consistent, high-quality learning experiences across Wingspan.

User authentication needed
Yes
User authentication
Other
Other user authentication
Infosys supports two factor authentication to access any of client data. Access to client data is possible only within the Infosys network and to connect to the Infosys network, employees/contractors will have to connect through VPN using a two factor authentication. However, just this does not guarantee access to client data. Further access to client data is only for authorised users (an additional factor of authentication)
Access restrictions in management interfaces and support channels
Wingspan ensures secure authentication through form-based login, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), configurable via Microsoft Azure AD and other OAuth providers (Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). It supports SAML 2.0, LDAP, and Active Directory via ADFS 2.0 for identity federation. All API requests use HTTPS encryption and are authenticated against the requester. Wingspan websites maintain end-to-end HTTPS security. The mobile app allows encrypted offline content downloads, bound to the user and device, preventing sharing across devices or users. This robust authentication framework guarantees secure access and compliance with modern identity management standards.

Protective monitoring type
Supplier-defined controls
Protective monitoring approach
Pre-requisite of developing an effective data breach response plan requires: Definition of Personal Information and the Customer Sensitive Information that organisation collects, regulations that are applicable, location of the individuals etc. Other inputs that should be considered are around the access provided to the database, logging mechanism put in place, encryption of data while storage and transmission etc. Infosys will create a customised plan for addressing a data security breach for its client data. During the audits, real time and historic event monitoring, if a breach is observed, initial level of incident categorisation is done and necessary steps are taken
Incident management type
Supplier-defined controls
Incident management approach
An effective data breach response plan begins with defining personal and customer-sensitive information, applicable regulations, and data locations. Key considerations include database access controls, logging, and encryption during storage and transmission. Infosys creates customized breach response plans for client data, incorporating real-time and historical monitoring. If a breach occurs, incidents are categorized and escalated promptly. Resolution steps include recording discovery details, applying forensic analysis to identify root causes, implementing recommended fixes, and checking for similar vulnerabilities. All remediation activities are documented to ensure transparency and compliance, minimizing risk and strengthening future security posture.
