How the support service works
We support AWS, Azure and GCP for FinOps and cost optimisation of the estate. Our service will look across the estate using either existing or agreed 3rd party tooling to deliver visibility and improved efficiency on a recommendation or automated basis.

Fighting climate change

Cloud GreenOps and FinOps both drive sustainability for Cloud Carbon usage.
At Synyega, we have made a commitment to ensure that as Synyega continues to grow that we operate as sustainably as possible. Not just for our benefit but also to try and ensure we are making positive contributions to the community and the environment. We want to embed this thinking into everything we do.
To assist in the fight against climate change, we encourage use of remote working practices reducing the need to travel and we invest in new energy efficient IT equipment.
We carefully track our carbon footprint and have a Carbon Reduction plan and have published it on our website. Additionally, Synyega invests in UK based Carbon offsetting projects and ensure that we offset more Carbon than we create. With our carbon positivity assisting in the fight against climate change. This also includes guidance for our teams on how to be more sustainable at home led by our internal culture and sustainability team.

Covid-19 recovery

Synyega has operated without significant disruption since March 2020 and has ensured employees are provided with support and flexibility required individually. Examples include:
• provided with suitable IT equipment for home working
• encouraged to work normal working hours and to take breaks during their work days
• encouraged to treat clients with similar respect and recognise constraints they may have.
• An office is available (but attendance not mandatory)

To assist with Tackling economic inequality, Synyega creates new industry 4.0 jobs and invests in new skills. Synyega regularly posts vacancies for entirely new positions.
Training needs are identified on individual basis’ and funded by the company a number of employees have become Cloud FinOps practitioners helping us to develop wider Cloud services capability.
Synyega is based in the north of England and has been approved for Northern Powerhouse funding by the Department of International trade to expand into international markets.

Our working conditions are respective of individuals’ needs, e.g. we provide IT equipment for remote working, standard company backdrops for video calls, shared on line calendars for transparency and planning. Flexible working in terms of time and location is also practised.
