- How the planning service works
-
C-Squared Consultancy offers a planning for digital service, which is the first of our three stage methodology to ensure that the correct strategic solutions are put in place to deliver the required outcomes for the business.
Our strategic stage looks at the drivers for change and includes the aspects of the current processes, technologies, the organisation and its culture. Digital solutions are an integral part of an organisation and must be selected against factors which include:
-Overall architectural compliance;
-Information flow;
-Automation of best practice processes and
-Ensuring that the staff/users can use the systems.
Without strategic planning which looks at the organisational aspects, it can lead to failure or reduced benefits delivery.
We also provide specialist services to ensure that the correct digital solutions are selected through frameworks including G-Cloud. The service meets procurement rules for the public sector and ensures that the client and the supplier both understand the requirements so that a successful outcome can be achieved.
The service includes:-
-Business analysis;
-Organisational design;
-Procurement;
-HR and restructuring;
-Cultural change;
-Continuous improvement;
-Benefits management and
-Programme management.
A strategic review can be provided to report on the current state, if the client has already progressed the project. - Planning service works with specific services

- How the setup or migration service works
-
The strategic planning service develops a detailed business case and supporting evidence to allow stakeholders to make informed decisions.
High level planning and the resources and skills required for the migration to the new solution is undertaken.
The availability of internal staff are identified to ensure that the project will deliver retained knowledge into the organisation, thus reducing the need for ongoing external resources and reducing costs.
Migration to the new solution is divided into two major areas of the system and people. The system aspects looks at the best ways information can be automatically obtained, validates and used to deliver services. Including ensuring the overall architecture is appropriate and different systems can be integrated.
The people aspect looks at the end users of the system and those who operate/administer it. Changes required to the organisation including structure, skills and culture are identified. This develops change management plans for the introduction of the new ways of working.
The risks and issues associated with the migration will also be identified and mitigations developed and actions put in place.
By introducing governance on the project, the migration will be undertaken in a controlled and managed way. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

- How the quality assurance and performance testing works
-
We can provide key stakeholders with confidence in the quality of their change intentions by undertaking audits / reviews / health checks of their change plan / programme, which can range from an informal check through to a full review.
Part of our approach to technology / supplier selection is to structure into the evaluation / business case process objective criteria that assesses the performance of comparative systems, as well as facilitating review of the solution whilst in use in other organisations to provide a "real world" view of the technology quality & performance. Our technical team can also undertake system testing to provide a qualified opinion of whether systems do in fact adhere to the quality and performance claims made in their tender applications.
