- How the planning service works
-
The Azure Hours Bank service was born as a result of seeing how many of our customers adapted to using and consuming cloud services.
We discovered that many either did not have the in-house skills and/or the appetite to build and support solutions and services on the Azure platform. As a result, we offer the Azure Hours Bank service to help fill this gap.
We fully understand and appreciate that the move to using cloud services can often be daunting and overwhelming at the same time. Using the Azure Hours Bank service allows customers to extend your Azure expertise by being able to leverage our Azure certified Architects and Engineers to augment your organisation’s current technical and delivery capability in Azure. - Planning service works with specific services

Fighting climate changeFighting climate change
Microsoft Azure is committed to fighting climate change through various initiatives. One of the ways Azure fights climate change is by using renewable energy sources to power its data centers. Azure has set a goal to be powered by 100% renewable energy by 2025. Additionally, Azure is working to improve energy efficiency in its data centers, reducing the overall carbon footprint. Azure also offers its customers tools and resources to help them reduce their own carbon footprint, such as the Microsoft Sustainability Calculator, which helps customers understand and reduce their carbon emissions associated with their cloud workloads.
