How the quality assurance and performance testing works
The service addresses the, often fraught, issue of the operational reliability and availability of complex cloud solutions. Replacement of monolithic systems with, often geographically dispersed, distributed systems introduced additional reliability and availability challenges. Often neglected during testing, these can be the Achille's Heel of a programme, delaying go-live and taking many months to tackle during early, problematic, live operation.

With a specific remit of searching for and then testing potential reliability and availability issues this service brings forward the visibility of such issues. Often brining things into the development period that would otherwise only be found in production.

Earlier visibility of these issues leads to better, more appropriate, fixing thus increasing system quality and user experience. It also prevents last minutes realisation that there are real issues derailing a projects run into production.
