The API is called when staff users access their workstation as part of a logon script. The script queries the API to check if the user exists in the directory, or if their directory entry requires a review based on a configurable review cycle of X days. Buyers can use the API response to configure an action, such as forcing a review of a user's own record as part of an on screen pop-up.

Further customisation is possible through the addition of custom boolean or custom text fields.
Scaling
- Independence of resources
- Directory is a lightweight application that runs on virtual instances using AWS cloud hosting. The AWS hosting is proactively monitored for availability and system health by monitoring systems. System events and alerts of threshold breaches are detected by Netcall’s system management tools and these alert our DevOps and Customer Support team of state changes. This allows for the addition of further virtual resource, or an increase in a class of the virtual instances where demand requires.
