Setup and migration

- How the setup or migration service works
-
We are experts, with practical boots on the ground experience migrating from on-prem to hybrid and fully on-cloud data infrastructure.
With a special focus on migrating the standard on-prem Microsoft ETL stack of SQL Server, SSIS and SSAS Tabular to their cloud equivalents of Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory & Azure Functions.
Our process follows a typical discovery and planning phase, followed by an execution phase.
We use the discovery phase to help you rationalise the data you need for reporting, analytics and data science so that we only migrate those things actually required.
We don't subscribe to a 'big bang' migration, instead components will be migrated in discrete chunks that ensure you begin to see value as soon as possible and can begin decommissioning on-premise infrastructure as early as possible. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

Fighting climate change
Our organisation is deeply committed to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
Leveraging Microsoft Azure as our primary cloud service, we align with Microsoft's net-zero emissions commitment, enabling us to monitor and report on the environmental impact of the services we use.
This ensures we're not only managing costs effectively but also prioritising lower carbon options whenever possible.
Beyond our digital infrastructure, our comprehensive and adaptive sustainability plan is designed to minimise our environmental footprint and promote long-term sustainability across all facets of our operations.Covid-19 recovery
Data science is a high growth sector and ADSP has a strong track record of hiring new graduates as well as individuals whose careers have been stifled or interrupted by Covid-19.
Our company has worked with clients to understand the impact of “black swan” events, namely Covid-19, on their supply chains. Our efforts have been focused on reconstructing forecasting models to adapt to today's 'new normal', ensuring resilience and continuity in unpredictable times.
Embracing a fully flexible work location policy, ADSP has expanded its recruitment reach nationally, facilitating employment recovery across the UK, well beyond the confines of London. This strategic shift not only supports broader economic recovery efforts but also taps into a diverse talent pool, enriching our team with fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. Our commitment to flexibility and inclusivity in the post-pandemic era underscores our dedication to building a robust, adaptable, and forward-thinking workforce.Tackling economic inequality
Our company is at the cutting edge of data science, a field with the potential to transform both business and society. We're dedicated to nurturing talent in this innovative area, having open-sourced work that contributes to academic research, such as assisting psychologists in patient diagnosis studies. We're proud to support individuals entering the field, including graduates and those from non-traditional education routes like apprenticeships or work experience. The shift to remote work during Covid-19, now a permanent aspect of our operations, allows us to access talent across the UK, furthering our mission to create new businesses, jobs, and skills.
Ethical Data Science Use: We advocate for ethical data science application, ensuring our projects are not only legally compliant but ethically sound, positively impacting society.
Enhancing Supply Chain Resilience: Our use of advanced machine learning techniques has revolutionised supply chain optimisation, especially crucial during economic uncertainties. We've developed bespoke forecasting models capable of adapting to significant non-seasonal fluctuations in supply and demand. Our team's efforts in applying both supervised and unsupervised machine learning models have been key in identifying and addressing inefficiencies, reducing losses, and enhancing transparency through comprehensive reports and dashboards.
Data Management and Security: Our data management practices give priority to security and sensitivity, adapting to the needs of our clients. Whether through working on virtual machines (VMs) hosted on client infrastructure or securely storing data on our servers, we ensure that data is processed with the utmost care. Our strict protocols mean data is never stored or processed on individual laptops, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of information at all times.
Through these initiatives, we aim to address economic inequality by driving innovation, supporting employment in high-growth sectors, and ensuring our practices contribute positively to society and the economy.Equal opportunity
ADSP is deeply committed to fostering an environment of equal opportunity, where diversity is not just respected but is seen as a source of strength. Our approach is multifaceted, aiming to eliminate barriers and create a more inclusive workforce.
Diverse Talent Acquisition: We have refined our recruitment processes to ensure they are inclusive and accessible to all. Our strategies are designed to attract a wide range of candidates, reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve.
Professional Development and Growth: ADSP believes in the power of continuous learning and development. We offer tailored training programmes, mentorship, and career development plans to all employees, supporting their growth and advancement within the company.
Creating an Inclusive Culture: We understand that true equality extends beyond hiring practices. ADSP is committed to fostering a workplace culture where everyone feels they belong. By encouraging our employees to share their experiences, we contribute to our ongoing journey towards inclusivity.
Our commitment to equal opportunity is embedded in every aspect of our operations. From the way we design our workspaces to the policies and benefits we offer, our goal is to create an environment that supports the diverse needs of our employees. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is not only right ethically but also essential for driving innovation and business success. By embracing different perspectives and backgrounds, we foster a creative and dynamic workplace where everyone can thrive.Wellbeing
At ADSP, we recognise that our employees' wellbeing is fundamental to our success. We are committed to supporting not just the physical health of our team members but their mental and emotional wellbeing too.
Flexible Working Practices: Recognising the importance of work-life balance, ADSP offers the option to work remotely. This flexibility allows our employees to work in a way that suits their lifestyle and commitments, promoting a healthy balance between professional and personal life.
Employee Engagement and Feedback: We regularly seek feedback from our team on our wellbeing initiatives, ensuring they meet the needs of our diverse workforce. This open dialogue helps us to continuously refine and improve our support for employee wellbeing.
ADSP's commitment to wellbeing is also embedded in every aspect of our operations, mirroring our approach to equal opportunity. We continuously monitor industry best practices and seek to implement innovative approaches to diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing. Our leadership team's active involvement in this process demonstrates a top-down commitment to these values. Through regular training and awareness initiatives, we ensure that these principles are ingrained in our organisational culture, guiding our actions and decisions.
